I just woke up, started my phone and a notification of facebook saying "RIP Alan Lancaster" and now I'm totally debastated. I guess I'm going to hear the Live album or see one of the reunion gigs, don't know yet, but there's something that I must do.
Fly high, Alan, now you have time on the highway and so much time on the road with Rick.

A very sad day. I know he had not been well for a few years but wasn’t aware how bad he was. My thoughts with his family today.

Thanks for everything Alan. Not just Quo but also The Bombers and that recent live Party Boys tape. They're ALL among my favourites. A rock-'n'-roll life well lived.
Would love to see that Quo PLC recording released as a tribute.

Sad, sad news. My thoughts are with his family and friends and all of the Quo family around the world.
Thank goodness we had the reunion, it was an amazing time to have them all back together again and I cherish the memories.
Thank you for the music Alan, it will live on for ever. RIP 😥
