Rubbish song and an super awkward performance. But despite that it’s interesting to watch them perform it on tv. Never knew about this. Thanks for the video 👍🏻

Frame and Rick seem to be engaged in a running series of comments and asides as Alan does his bit. A strange fragmented performance. Would this have been Alan's last lead vocal performance of a track, I wonder?

Well heres a thing. I have not seen this before. Not my favourite Quo song by a country mile, but it's another lost gem from a fantastic period!

Well, this is a rarity! Nice one Not my favourite ever Quo song but at least it's not Rockin'... And, in fact, it sounds a bit better in 2021 than it did in 1982 Was Big Man released as a single in Spain? Just wondering why they might have performed it on TV.

People miss the fact that it's satire! Al was only 4'3" in his stack heels!

Was Big Man released as a single in Spain? Just wondering why they might have performed it on TV. No, Jealousy was (but I don't know when it was released as a single). As well Rock 'n' Roll when they mimed it 2 years before. But for example, Don't Drive My Car wasn't release as a single here (the second single from the 'posing album was Rock 'n' Roll, B Side was Lies), but they mimed it in 1980, so I don't know exactly why they chose it (or the show chose it) Also, comparing this to the 1979 show, I see it strange too. Dear John, the stage is clear, audience is far from the stage. On the next two songs, there's smoke on the stage and the audience is close to the stage. On the '79 show, RAOTW was all the band in the same stage. The next two songs were played, John in a part of the stage, Andy on another, Rick, Francis and Alan on another...Strange.

First time I've heard the song all the way through, and it's fucking shite. The performance is cringier than the one for Jealousy

I reckon Francis was writing Marguerita Time in his head as this performance was going on.
