Watching Rossi and the image of the band portrayed by the show made me cringe. As I watched it further, as with many other interviews, I could see what many in the public, press and all the Quo-haters, joke and jibe at, but also that the Quo I have liked is not the one presented (ie RAOTW, WYW, In the Army now etc., and the chap in his dress suit with his white socks who comes across as insecure and affable but would do anything to sell any thing really and doesn't care what it is!) Not in the slightest interested in what he does and definitely not interested in seeing him or his band play. In my eyes he fell from grace and admiration a long, long, long time ago. (and yet I still tuned in and watched it! There was still a hope to see or hear something different but I should have known better) He is on TV to promote an up and coming tour, it's what normally happens to try and get the word out there. As for the tracks you have in brackets, two were huge hits for the band in the 70's. One of them I think is/was a fantastic intro to rival most any Quo tracks. Nothing you said is surprising, if I thought something was going to make me cringe I wouldn't watch it or turn it off. What did you hope to see or hear that would have suited you? You're 100% correct. I guess it's just the insincerity of the these shows. The fake enthusiasm, the cliches (which I guess is what unspokenwords was alluding to). I wouldn't be surprised if Schofield opened with "They've been rocking all over the world for 'insert years' and sold 'insert never changing amount of records'....." That insincerity and lowest common denominator audience just fails to drum up excitement. We know what they'll play and we know what to expect, including Burning Bastartin' Bridges and Richie singing Creepin'. No Jazz Odyssey for Quo. Still, I'm going to go - I wonder if the lack of Scottish dates is down to venue choice. Even the Armadillo is 3k seating and the o2 Academy at 2.5k is a bit of a shithole, - perfect for the raw, exciting FF gigs, not so much for your standard Quo audience. Still, as @bluehighway says, we're gig starved and gagging for some live music, so I'll go to Edinburgh or Glasgow. Don't make me regret it Francis.

A few news outlets and Quos facebook page clearly couldnt wait until after his appearance before making this public knowledge Shows how the bands management don't really care about the bands website as there is no information as yet on it. Click on Tours on Official Website Dates are on there including European Dates

I don't know if the mutterings of a bizarre old man, who can still play amazing guitar, warrant this amount of comment.
If only he could not talk, and didn't contradict himself so much he and his band might be taken a little bit more seriously. They cant let anybody else from band except Andy do the interviews, who arguably could be the bands spokesman, as he is articulate and honest would be the way, but he hasn't got the profile. Phhhh, who'd be a PR man in Quo management camp?..

There is pretty much no use for the site anymore. It's massively outdated, and there is no reason for people to visit it without the forum It will never get the update it needs and deserves, as they just seem to "re-skin" it every time there's a new tour or something to promote - which they have done now with the Out Out Quoing. Look at the Def Leppard website for example. First thing you see when you open it are;- Recent shots of the current line-up, links to their various social platforms, band logo and various shortcuts for News, Tour, Store, and one of their latest ventures "The Vault". New interviews with band members about certain periods in the bands history, archival shots of the band live and interviews with the photographers of said pictures (Ross Halfin)

Yeah well, it’s 2021, who even uses someone’s homepage for information anymore? I can’t even remember the last time I visited their website..

I click on the site now and then, Got a shortcut on my desktop. Yes, a desktop! I see it's not on the front page of the site either. You have to click on "tour" to see it. OK, sounds obvious but I'd have thought it might be up front. But most of the information I get is either from here or from Mrs Mortified and my sister who are both on Facebook. Quo need to create an app for my phone. I'd probably check it every day.

Do they seriously think these gigs especially dublin wil go a head wit the covid thing hoping they will any thoughts? Not a chance the Dublin one goes ahead. We have a a Government with no guts or balls, a draconian health team that wants you locked up at home. As I said, the health team's advice to Government was a long ban on live music. They already said they want another lockown between October and February. Not a hope this gig happens. Cannot stand the ***** in charge in this country!!

He's doing an Aquostic version of his book. ffs dont give him ideas He already did that, didn't he? What we need now is an electric version.
PS Seen about the gigs. We could've hung on to our old tickets Actually I appreciated being given a refund but I hate scrabbling for tickets on line too. So much less civilised than a nice queue!

must of got the name from watching Mickey Flanagan for the tour title Another East London cockerny wanka, can you tell I'm from South East London. Little known fact. When the Bow bells rung and you heard them you were a cockney. That's why all maternity delivery rooms South of the Border have double glazing to prevent contamination. What father wants their child's first words to be "Alright Guvernor"?
