So, is this a mish mash of single mixed from "Pictures: 40 Years Of Hits" with a few B-sides grabbed from the deluxes and the volumes tweaked to match? Regarding Roadhouse Medley (Anniversary Waltz Part 25), seems that there are 4 versions that originally came out across the 7" and CD singles: Radio Edit 1 (04:40) Radio Edit 2 (04:57) - info from Discogs - maybe they are identical and someone has got the timings a bit wrong? Extended version (07:49) Roadhouse Mix (12:41) - assuming this is the one on the "Live Alive Quo" album Potentially 5, if you count the version that appeared on the "Live At The BBC" box set, which was the original broadcast from Sutton Park in 1992, and subsequently remixed, and overdubbed (?) for "Live Alive Quo".

Radio Edit 2 (on the CD single) has basically completely faded out by 04:49, so maybe 04:40 for Radio Edit 1 (which was on the 7" single) is more accurate, or it was faded out even earlier for the purpose of vinyl?
Don't know much about these things, and far too much time on my hands today.

I'll have a look into that, ie the mixes. The extended mix will just be the full medley, as the Roadhouse Medley as a whole definitely ran longer than 12 minutes

Nice cover pic. Hardly 'essential', though. Whoever wrote the description on Amazon seems to think the band have ceased to exist entirely!

By 'extended', presume they mean longer than the Radio Edit, but not extended as far as the full 12+ minute version.
The Roadhouse Mix seems to be the full 12+ minute version.

This is what I've found to exist, officially;- Roadhouse Medley (The Anniversary Waltz Part 25); Radio Edit - 04:56 Extended Mix - 07:48 Roadhouse Mix - 12:40 Roadhouse Medley (Full Version) - 20:20 Only one Radio Edit, so I'm guessing there's an earlier fade on the vinyl version

It seemed never ending! I was in HMV or Virgin every few days trying to make sure I had everything! The In The Army Now single was the same; 7", 12", pic-disc, gatefold sleeve double single, German CD etc. There was no t'internet so you had to be on yer toes in them days

Rollin' Home, Dreamin', Army and Calling. Go for a few hundred if you ever manage to find one

According to Discogs, was last sold in 2011. And only one was sold, considering the lowest, median and highest price are the same (unless multiple copies were all sold by that same very specific price, which it wouldn't be likely).

Can't remember which tracks are on it though. I'd have to dig it out. No idea why the record store had it either. Never heard of the Army one though. Ain't Complaining was the first Quo CD album I ever bought. I only got my first CD player in 1988. Right, that's enough of that. Or I'll be off wallowing in nostalgia and end up getting a perm now that hairdressers are open again

Probably some of those earlier mixes people have been trying to find (unprocessed vocals on Magic, longer intro on Ain't Complaining, etc.).
