Hello stranger. How's your organ? I heard it was covered in dust through lack of use. Being at home for months in the studio with just the current wife for company if anything it's been overworked

Ha yes no offence intended to anyone, but I don’t know whether a man in his 70s facing 4000 people singing back at him would get the necessary insurance to make the tour viable. Once the governments of the various countries involved deem the risk low enough then the insurance and audiences will definitely be there for Quo and many other heritage rock bands.

I very much doubt we will get any more quo gigs this year - possibly ever. Sorry to be a harbinger of doom but we are not going to get them this year, especially considering the bands age and the turn out based on the age of the audiences. It will be either banned or not financially viable. Sorry, but this just made me laugh! I think it’s obvious this year is out but regarding age, I think the band will go on as long as Francis wants to (look at Uncle Mick and Uncle Keef)! As for the audience, I’ve seen a variety of ages amongst the fans and even oldies such as myself can still rock a bit! Whilst there is still a demand, there will still be tours in the future.
Have we had this one yet?

Funnily enough this had crossed my mind with regard to our goodselves, never mind Francis ... audience members are quite capable of delivering GBH of the Ear'ole on a good song, why not the nose too? Apparently choirs are one of the biggest risk events, your trained diva/tenor can pump out virus faster than any machine known to humankind.

you could use a holographic audience too then we can all just stay at home 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Permanent lockdown in action I don't suppose it'll be long before the jokes start coming out about Quo having to retire (finally!) because their fan base was decimated by the pandemic hitting the care homes. Joking apart, Quo have never had this long a lay-off. Who knows how they'll feel once things start to go back to normal and they come out the other side. I could never see Francis retiring but he might have thought to himself. "Know what? That was alright. I'll just potter about here in me garden or sit in me rockin' chair"
I'll be honest, I'm getting used to this not going anywhere myself. I have no overwhelming desire to go to the pub or "meet people". It's a miserable ba$tard's dream! Down down deeper and down Down down deeper and down Get down planting the geranium's deeper and down

I have found this among the most distressing issues of the current crisis. Her petunias are stunning and her window boxes aren't bad either. Have you been unable to fulfil Mrs Railroad's needs, horticulturally speaking, during lockdown?

I'm a tad surprised to see the Stranglers are intending to complete their tour despite the death of Dave Greenfield. Only JJB will be left from the classic line-up.

Doesn't look good for Dublin olympia Oct 6th anyone have same thoughts yet there still selling tickets As you will guess from my board name, I am due to attend the Dublin gig in October next. If we are being told by various experts that we may have to live with the virus for the foreseeable future, then might going to a concert eventually involve everyone (except for the performers) having to wear a face mask/covering whilst inside the venue....with plexiglass placed at the front of the stage separating musicians and audience? Yes I know that may sound utter ridiculous.... but so would Premier League matches being played behind closed doors, if you had proposed this idea to another person back in March last.

I would never go to any gig where you have to wear a face covering, bad enough as it is now with them being made mandatory in certain situations Cheers

I've tickets for Berlin in November. German ticket suppliers have emailed me a couple of times to say that the decision on cancellation has yet to be confirmed and that they'd keep me updated. These tickets are still on sale. I don't hold out much hope, but the German dates being cancelled claim isn't accurate at this point in time.

You’ve got to imagine sales would be poor this year so it would be in their best interest to postpone until next year .
I was due to go to Munich and Zurich but I’d much rather have it to look forward to next year

I saw it a while back but can't remember where. But ta for the info

It was supposed to be their last 'tour' so they have decided to milk the name a little further. They are good live and better still the Ruts DC are the support.

I think its pretty shocking no decision has been made. Its highly unlikely to go ahead. But the money men will try to milk as much money out of people as they can. Its probably largely out of the bands hands.
I have no interest in going to see the band any more. I wouldn't rule it out completely but can't see me going now Rhino's vocals are so prominent. I do think its a shame for many who were looking forward to hearing songs from the latest album live.
