I'd be surprised if the tour went ahead. There's no sign of theatres or concert halls opening any time soon (early indications are 2021) and the German leg of the tour has already been cancelled. Although, interestingly, the gigs are still showing on the official website so who knows? Maybe that was false news. I imagine the promoters will keep selling tickets till they're told that it's definitely off. But who'd be daft enough to buy one at the moment?

It's not fake news on the German gigs, concert venues are still closed over here for audiences over 300. I should have been on tour in Spring this year, we hoped to reschedule for late this year but have had to postpone until Fall of 2021. I can't see indoor concerts of any appreciable size before summer next year.

I can guarantee the UK Shows will not go ahead. Management need to sort themselves out.
They didn't even know the German leg of the tour had been cancelled / postponed.

If the Culture Secretary things there will be no theatre shows this side of Christmas. Steve Hackett has rescheduled his tour to next year.

Maybe this needs viewing through a prism.

I very much doubt we will get any more quo gigs this year - possibly ever. Sorry to be a harbinger of doom but we are not going to get them this year, especially considering the bands age and the turn out based on the age of the audiences. It will be either banned or not financially viable.
Realistically I can’t see them playing again but maybe I’m wrong.

It will be either banned or not financially viable. Sorry, but this just made me laugh! I think it’s obvious this year is out but regarding age, I think the band will go on as long as Francis wants to (look at Uncle Mick and Uncle Keef)! As for the audience, I’ve seen a variety of ages amongst the fans and even oldies such as myself can still rock a bit! Whilst there is still a demand, there will still be tours in the future.

Ha yes no offence intended to anyone, but I don’t know whether a man in his 70s facing 4000 people singing back at him would get the necessary insurance to make the tour viable.

Rossi could always let them use a hologram of him for the tour. Easy enough to find audio and video footage of him too do that while he can relax at home and cash in ££

Joking apart, Quo have never had this long a lay-off. Who knows how they'll feel once things start to go back to normal and they come out the other side. I could never see Francis retiring but he might have thought to himself. " Know what? That was alright. I'll just potter about here in me garden or sit in me rockin' chair" I'll be honest, I'm getting used to this not going anywhere myself. I have no overwhelming desire to go to the pub or "meet people". It's a miserable ba$tard's dream!
