Speaking of the 2006 remaster of RTYD, don't suppose anyone has an MP3 rip of it handy? Also, wasn't it some sort of miss-press that led to it being pulled so quickly? I know a track was incorrectly titled, think it might have been Forty Five Hundred Times, not entirely sure, and I've not got a rip of it personally, but someone else might

Cheers for the quick reply QI!!!, will still order all 3, I know which one will get the most use on my headphones already tho!π No worries! I was replying to another thread and saw I had 2 notifications The Rock 'til You Drop release is shaping up to be a great one! I'm going to make sure this set gets some great promo / advertising done, as I don't think the last couple of batches have at all. I'll also try to inform people outside of the Quo fan circle. I want this to be successful! True, the last batch is still not mentioned on the band's website at all!

One of 3. The other 2 alongside the RTYD deluxe are; Perfect Remedy and Thirsty Work Dear God Thirsty Work is getting the barrel scraping treatment too! Is there a barrel large enough anywhere on the planet that could render that heap of turgid, saccharine tweeness even vaguely listenable? Well, we're going for completeness here Tony And that album also had some b-sides that didn't make the remaster, plus we'll hopefully add a lot of good (!) live stuff. There's actually too much live stuff to include on it...

We disagree probably on most things related to the band. But Iβm glad your getting a special ed or whatever itβs called with stuff you want on. These have so often been rubbish and fleecing loyal fans. You are right, quite often previous bonus material has bee of really poor quality but the promo on YouTube has really whetted my appetite. Plus, getting a rarity like the Price of Love will be interesting to hear Exactly! If we're going to get live material from post '85 lineup, at least put some rarely played tracks in there as well as the usual hits!

Thanks for that, for me those 4 x b-sides off CGYM (& cancelled FTB), were as good as if not better than some of the tracks that probably shouldn't have made the final original '91 album release. Again imo a wasted opportunity by Vertigo when they could've got a better product out for the band at that time, soon after the recent success of RAOTY in '90... I think according to Francis it was David Walker's decision. Not sure how true this is and if Vertigo would have pulled rank. DW definitely wanted the covers and re-recordings on RTYD. I believe it was a compromise in the end as FR wanted an originals album and on the back of the Anniversary Waltz DW wanted a covers album. I'm sure someone will know more than me though.

I know a track was incorrectly titled, think it might have been Forty Five Hundred Times That was the 2002(?) Spectrum issue, it said "Forty Five Thousand Times". At ten times the length I'd have enjoyed it. The title was corrected for the 2006 remaster, it just seemed to disappear for some reason when the others didn't.

It was David Walkers idea to chuck the covers in as he didn't think they were going to sell the product otherwise.

Delusional David thinking Quo fans wanted songs like All Around My Hat and The Beach Boys, Fun Fun later in the 90's

Have we an official release or pre-order date for these latest discs please QI? No release or pre-order date yet, sorry! The RTYD deluxe was just revisited so Disc 2 & 3 could be amended. Now that they have been sorted, work can start on Perfect Remedy and Thirsty Work. I'd say possibly April or May 2020 for a release period
