The live stuff seems great! This line-up was my favourite. Lots of power and emotion. Jeff really understood the songs he was playing. Again, my opinion, don't crucify me! Can't wait!So that's your favourite line-up? Interesting.

That’s great news cheers I don’t think I’ve ever heard a full version of price of love, not even a bootleg audience recording, only the little bit on the end of roadhouse medley so looking forward to hearing it. Great job 👍 It was the only time they played it live, in full... whereas Let's Work Together remained in the set for a short period after the RTYD event. So now Disc 3 will be packed full of live material; --------------------------------------------------- Paper Plane [Sheffield Arena, 21st September] Price Of Love [Sheffield Arena, 21st September] Mystery Medley [Sheffield Arena, 21st September] Rain [Sheffield Arena, 21st September] Rock 'til You Drop (Stage Tape) [Glasgow SECC, 21st September] Down Down [Glasgow SECC, 21st September] Roll Over Lay Down [Glasgow SECC, 21st September] Let's Work Together [Glasgow SECC, 21st September] Little Lady [Birmingham NEC, 21st September] Whatever You Want [Birmingham NEC, 21st September] In The Army Now [Birmingham NEC, 21st September] Burning Bridges [Wembley Arena, 21st September] Rockin' All Over The World [Wembley Arena, 21st September] Anniversary Waltz [Wembley Arena, 21st September] Rock And Roll Music / Sweet Soul Music / Bye Bye Johnny [Wembley Arena, 21st September]

Evening QI, apologies if I've missed any previous posts on this but, has it been confirmed if this will be another one of 3 simultaneous remaster releases, or is this one out on its own?

I was replying to another thread and saw I had 2 notifications The Rock 'til You Drop release is shaping up to be a great one! I'm going to make sure this set gets some great promo / advertising done, as I don't think the last couple of batches have at all.

Nice one, I think the advantage this cd re-release has is that it was largely - or totally overlooked, (as far as I know), when Mercury's 2006 last remasters came out?, I'm sure you'll correct me swiftly I'm wrong...

Yeah... No bonus tracks at all, just the original CD tracklisting... but tracks 11-16 were labelled as such. B-Sides of the time completely forgotten about, and the release itself soon disappeared.

Is there a barrel large enough anywhere on the planet that could render that heap of turgid, saccharine tweeness even vaguely listenable?

Thanks for that, for me those 4 x b-sides off CGYM (& cancelled FTB), were as good as if not better than some of the tracks that probably shouldn't have made the final original '91 album release. Again imo a wasted opportunity by Vertigo when they could've got a better product out for the band at that time, soon after the recent success of RAOTY in '90...

Which gigs are you looking for ? It's more so the rare stuff I'm after, like; Sydney Hordern Pavillion 20.11.74 (5) SBD... which was released but Roadhouse was split into 2 tracks, stupidly The Fighter 1987 (Early Mixes of the Ain't Complaining Album) Top Of The Pops 2nd May, 2000 (Tracks without Steve Wrights Commentary) The One And Only 4th July, 2002 (Incl. unbroadcast tracks)and the sound checks from '84-'87 what were the unbroadcast tracks? And that is awesome the added tracks we are getting on RTYD with your involvement top stuff

And that is awesome the added tracks we are getting on RTYD with your involvement top stuff I'm not sure whether they played the full set from the time but The Wanderer wasn't broadcast, Forty Five Hundred Times / Rain. The broadcast was awfully edited as well, and there's no continuity. Rick is p*ss wet through with sweat during Down Down, then the following song Heavy Traffic he's managed to dry off Caroline All Stand Up (Never Say Never) Roll Over Lay Down Down Down Heavy Traffic Creepin' Up (On You) Whatever You Want Rockin' All Over The World Whereas the set at the time was; Caroline The Wanderer Something 'Bout You Baby I Like Don't Waste My Time Forty Five Hundred Times / Rain All Stand Up (Never Say Never) Solid Gold Heavy Traffic Creepin' Up (On You) Mystery Medley Gerdundula Big Fat Mama Roll Over Lay Down Down Down Whatever You Want Rockin' All Over The World ----------------------------- Anniversary Waltz Juniors Wailing Bye Bye Johnny They definitely didn't finish after Rockin' at the concert as Rick goes up to Rossi, says something, then walks up to the mic... then all of a sudden Rossi doesn't have his guitar any more. Terrible editing

Speaking of the 2006 remaster of RTYD, don't suppose anyone has an MP3 rip of it handy? Also, wasn't it some sort of miss-press that led to it being pulled so quickly?

The version of Roll Over Lay Down on The One And Only is so good they nailed that song Rossi's playing was on top form good solo's. Compared to the half arsed way he plays it these days plus the tone he had then was far better then todays tone
