I am almost as predictable one way as you are the other.............almost. At least I know I will reserve judgement till I have heard it, whereas you probably don't like the album after hearing just the snippets. And probably even before you did. I’ve heard enough to know I don’t like the production, and yes you can usually tell if a songs any good pretty quickly. It’s all very samey,Cut me Some Slack might be worth it that one at least attempted to sound like proper Quo. The rest of it sounds like off cuts from Rossi’s solo album. Are you “Blinded by the Light” Mr Ryan? Yes I think so Cheers I will listen to it first, but for you to say it sounds like a Rossi solo album, when everybody in Quo has made contributions is a tad dubious.

If he was still in the band, according to most on here it would probably have been, that he had written the only two songs on the album worth listening to. I think you are entirely wrong there. Increasingly I think your posts are simply to wind others up. Which is fair enough but not based on reality. That was tongue in cheek if truth be known, obviously. He wouldn't have written two worth listening to joking again. I do nothing different to Markquo, only he does in one way and I the other.

Like I said, new album isn’t gonna be great in my opinion judging from what I’ve heard so far.Its certainly trying to be Quo and falls short by a long way . Cheers

Just a quick question what year do you think it was still Quo, just so I know what this new album is falling short of?

I think we have to ask ourselves, what would Alan have done? Was this posted just to stir the pot even more? Had Alan not been ousted by Francis, Rick, the management and record company pressure the band would have imploded before the end of the 80s, as Alan had barely been on civil terms with Francis since around 78 and it had got worse and worse as the years passed with zero chance of rapprochement.

I think we have to ask ourselves, what would Alan have done? I think he would have called it Francis Rossi's Quo or as he did recently the Anti Quo. when did he say that calling it Anti Quo?

All good PR stuff. The band all together laughing , having a good time, contributing equally etc. The message seemed to be we are a band and not just one fella representing Quo and it's a great album as a consequence of all that. Only thing that raised my eyebrow contrary to that approach was Ritchie saying he was told he would be lead vocal on one track. Surprised that got through the PR ! Minor thing I know, as ultimately the album will be judged on the strength of the songs themselves. I haven't heard them all, so will reserve judgement until such time as I have. Maybe I am on lead vocals on one track would have oiled the PR machine even more so.
Leon saying it was a Rock album made me smile as well ( no emoji) , really! isn't that's what Quo do. Ok I haven't really done there studio stuff since 1982, so maybe not?

I'm looking forward to it, reckon it's going to be an enjoyable listen. Nice to see plenty of positive promo too.
