no pints? ... which band? need more info.... Yep. No draught beer. Just tins. Which they bought for a quid at the most, then flog them for a fiver. Feck that. Robbing bastards. Dog of Two Head. no draught lager or bitter? jeez.... that's not great is it? not for a nightclub/music venue...

I think they were selling the cans for £3 something. Busman's holiday is no excuse Davy. But then you didn't want to go to 2014 Reunion tour either. Your loss, we had a blast. Your choice of course.

We played the same venue a few weeks back - the cans were over £4 then. A can of Bud and a voddy & coke was a tenner. Feck that. The 2013 reunion was supposed to be a "once only" event. The 2014 "reunion" was a piss take. That's why I avoided it. Still, word is McV was a roaring success, so well done Jay and all the bands for their hard work. Yes it was and yes well done to Jay and all the bands! I don't agree that the 2nd tour was a piss take! Can't say anymore at the moment, only just woken up! Ended up in the Solid Rock Cafe (great fun there, everyone singing along and rocking out to all the 70's Rock Classics. It was like a time warp!) and then the Howling Wolf! Feeling a bit fragile this morning!

OK, will try to do something quickly now..... apologies if I mix up some of the songs/bands. Friday night: Sorry I missed Ma Kelly's Boys but reports were good... maybe tramper can add more? Quo No Uk were great! I was a bit dubious at first because of the wigs but their energy and good humour won me over. I think they started with Juniors and Backwater/JTM. Storming JTM if I remember right, I love that song. Loved I saw the light. Went down to the floor for ROLD and my headbanging started for the weekend! Next were On the Level and they were great too. Think they started with Caroline. Sorry all a bit of a blur now! Baz's band finished the night off and they were awesome! I love them! Started off with a fabulous Umleitung and continued with lots more oldies like shy fly, daughter, Is it really me, need your love, April, Someone's learning.... loads more and was all played with so much energy and commitment! Really heavy heads down stuff! Brilliant young guys with him including his son on drums and the cool bass player who both played Minehead with him last year. And young Jay on guitar nailed all of the solos, he was amazing. Day two, and the party continued! Young band Heavy Traffic (Jay on drums with this band). Started off with the drone and great rhythm guitar entrance for Caroline and then pretty standard CQ set list. They did do Like a Good Girl which other people seemed to like but not for me (from my not so favourite album, I left then for a couple of songs! Not sure if they also did LLL boss? ) They were good musically you but I found the singer's total impersonation of current Francis a bit strange and put me off a bit. I want to be kind though as they are young and worked hard. Her Way to Hell were fabulous with their Bon Scott era set! We all wanted one more but time did not allow. Will definitely look out for them again. Then State of Quo who were brilliant and did a great set of standards and a I think a couple of unheard of before songs that I can't quite remember at the moment. Storming 4500x and Slow Train! Had a great headbanging time! Sound of Status finished off the evening with a bang. A mixture of Quo and their own album tracks. Great version of BFM. Brilliant energy and Rock God Thor came out into the audience at the end, great fun! All in all a fantastic Quo weekend and Rick was constantly remembered and appreciated every time one of his songs were played. A great way to celebrate his birthday and his life. Thank you Rick for your contribution to the greatest rock and roll band in the land!

Thanks for that Viv, sounds great fun. There was just no way I could get over this weekend but much as I'm not really a fan of these kind of events, this does sound good.
Going to go check out Her Way to Hell.
