JQ - Joke Quo Out with CQ. That's old hat now and too broad. The band have moved on - well, further downhill really, so we need a new more apt name and Joke Quo kinda fits the bill. We got Bula Quo, we got Coles Quo, we got Accordion Strum Along Quo and now....(drum roll)....we got Cruise Entertainment Quo! Yay... Way to go JOKE QUO! There is no end to how low this band can go. A total disgrace to themselves and their fans they have become. And to think they were running so high with the FF tours. The dropped that like a lead balloon and here is what we have left. Let them fade away on the cruise and workers club circuit. That is, after all, all they deserve now. So sad. What about H2 QUO , the watered down version . Although mentioned before , it seems more apt now . How many people will go on this cruise do you think ? Will they all be fans ? People wanting a cruise , but also a singalong at night , or holidaymakers grabbing a last minute bargain when it doesn't sell well .

Anyone find it strange that Zurich, Amsterdam, London & Birmingham are being recorded but not the Final Show...!!!! Maybe those four have sold well in comparison . Other than Paul Mcartney , can't think of any big artist who has recorded a show at Liverpool . By recorded do you mean DVD or live cd collect after the event ?

Good arguments to keep the same set list - you only need to suffer it once ?

What's the longest time you've left it between seeing Quo ( all forms of Status Quo ) ?
Only ask ask because last night I saw Iron Maiden , great gig , and realised it had been 36 years from the first time I had seen them .

Hi guys,
I have read with much interest about the reasons why Francis wants to stop and I respect them. It is in that connection I would wish for one more thing before Quo hang up the electric guitars. Would it be good to hear a new album of new rock songs. Aquostick is brilliant and I cannot wait for the next one but I would like to hear some new material in the rock style and it is not looking very possible such is the hectic schedules of the band.
Francis has said that Alan and John are stuck in the 70s and he no longer likes rock music and never really did. He likes pop and country which I love too. I think his future solo material will be very big in the way Robert Plant was with Alison Krauss. However it would be very smashing to see the He Man jelly on the roof one more time with a new Quo album of rock. Richard and John Edwards are more than capable of writing modern rock songs and Andrew Bown has ability in this respect. Francis could take a back seat and just sing and play rhythm and Freddie Edwards, Pip Williams and Wayne Morris could play additional guitar solos and parts like they have done in the past.
If the demand is there then there would be a reason for the guys to do this project of new material I am certain.
See you out there somewhere soon... Hey Swisscheese , Portuguesetripe , sauerkraut, it's a knockout euro special .... With reference to your sentence that Francis's almost finished solo album would rate alongside Robert Plant and Alison Krauss effort.......I take it you haven't heard the almighty " Running Bear " ?

Bob Young is the fifth member Faded denim is in fashion The band has three vocalists The Quo army return You leave a Quo gig sweating , knackered , stoked , hoarse ..etc Running Bear stays a Francis solo album filler

One question Curiousgirl , why did they not go to the first or second coming ? I don't know but they aren't going to AC/DC now that Axl Rose is the singer. Can understand that , but I'm still baffled that rock fans who have regularly seen Francis's Quo would miss out on seeing the original line up .

The rest of the band can squabble over who gets Ronnie Corbett's old chair , Dennis Waterman's chair from Little Britain , Magnus Magnusson and the Mastermind contestant chair . It'll be interesting to see who ends up with what ..

My cousin frank tells me that according to twitter sources, Francis and Rick are collaborating with the Foo Fighters as one of the projects they have lined up after the last 'electric' tour
Edit: link available shortly
Yeah , Dave Grohl is gonna lend them the chair he sat in when he broke his leg . Currently the chair is on tour with Guns and Roses . Should be available for the Acoustic tour take two .
