Wembley Arena October 1999, bit of a young pup, born in the wrong era. If it helps, I'm from good stock. Dad is old guard like many on here, I think his first was Hammersmith around 1973 and my mum bless her saw them on the End of the Road Tour a couple of times and multiple times after that.

I feel like the answer is currently staring me in the face...?
Are there 2 faces staring back
I went crawling through discogs last night to see if I could figure it out, looks like I did haha.
I'm not in love with the idea of buying a fourth copy tbh, it's already my favourite album ever in it's current form!
Out of interest, there seems to be a line in the sand regarding material pre and post a certain date. Is it that the owner of the "pre" date material simply isn't interested in Quo as an ongoing business but the "post" is?
Or does it come down to cost to "excavate" the old fossil stuff is so high (vs the current material thats all digital) that any projects involving that stuff would lose money?

I think you'll find the answer is clearly Matt had enough of Andy Creepin Up on him at gigs, on the bus, in the airport, at the ferry port etc.

Without telling us what it is, can you confirm if it's something that hasn't been released as audio before or is it something that has never been released before in any format? I don't know how to word it without making it too obvious, but it's something that has essentially been released in full but hasn't at the same time. It's a release that I, and quite a few others, were never keen on because of the original mix. It's been on vinyl, cassette, and CD. If you think you know what I'm talking about, drop me a PM. I feel like the answer is currently staring me in the face...?
I can't see that it would be anything else if you've ruled out Live at the NEC which I think was just made into stand alone CD and Vinyl releases off the Live at the BBC Box set.

Can we not have it as a Record Store Day Release? 2000 copies across the world or something? Assuming this image means the tapes were digitized?
They have been digitised. Everything that was in Rossis archive has been. It's the only way to check the tapes are what they say on the box - because in Quos case, most of the time they aren't.
Now that his archive has been digitised, has it been properly catalogued? Is Rossi's archive the only Quo archive or are there more with other owners?
There was some noise a few years ago that the Milton Keynes Bowl audio tapes had been found, is this the case? Was Crystal Palace the week before recorded?

You'll need a miracle, and then some

I was dissapointed with both their albums. TBH I felt like they took the Led Zeppelin criticisms and tried to 180 away from it resulting in 2 flat albums. Having listened to that now actually it's pretty good. My Way Soon off the same album is a banger. I'll have to listen to the albums again with fresher ears. Though I will say I couldn't understand a word he was singing, maybe my hearing is knackered.

Dirty Honey - 1 EP and 1 album, currently on their first headline tour of Europe. Saw them in January, absolutely amazing. Big things to come I hope.
Electric Mary - I only discovered them end of 2022 but decent amount of back catalogue to get your teeth into.
The Casanovas - Not a new band, like The Darkness been around 20 years plus but still kicking around and they should be much bigger than they area.

Well, for me make sense, the album wasn't released yet, and no songs from the album were played on any of the gigs except two covers. It could be played on the Wembley Arena, like saying "We are like zombies after 4 gigs". I suppose we got a taster when the title track was played just before the band came on stage. None of us knew what it was of course. Regardless of the whole Guinness Book of Records aspect, the whole thing was a marketing and promotion exercise. The first of many to come. Although, to be fair, I personally didn't appreciate it at the time. What was it about the RTYD event you didn't appreciate?

Bournemouth last night was absolutely brilliant, if I wasn't busy I'd go to Wembley on saturday. Really fun show, band in great spirits and there were some personal highlights in the setlist for me.

Just watching a video on Quo's facebook from Roubaix of Twenty Wild Horses. I would be over the moon to hear this live again (first show was Under the Influence Tour 1999). In My Chair is always a favourite. Hope they keep these for UK dates in a couple of weeks!
