I can't help thinking a mash up of Junior's Wailing & Spinning Wheel Blues wouldn't be too difficult. I also find that for some reason Somethin' 'Bout You, Baby puts me in mind of Chas & Dave's Rabbit. Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again by the Angels has some similarities to Quo's Lonely Night, imo - maybe I'm the only one who'd think that It was ripped off and if i recall correctly the case got settled. It’s now an Aussie anthem- everyone knows it and has add ons :” no way eff off get effed”!! Indeed - I was being a tad facetious I'd love to see Quo Connection attempt a mash up of the two songs. I mentioned it to Mick after a recent gig & apparently it's been suggested before. It'd certainly add something something to the set that nobody else has, so who knows? btw the crowd interjection is as follows:

Jeez Gran, you of all people know the danger of even considering the thought of 'C' (CONSPIRACY) surrounding this issue or we'll end up with... Tony Carey is in fact Jack The Ripper who was in fact the Duke of Clarence who was whisked forward in time by an alien spacecraft that landed in Shoreditch in 1888. Taken on board the craft crash landed at Roswell in 1947. Now known as Quarg, Carey/Ripper wandered about until a kind mid western farming family in rural Hawaii found him and taught him how to play the piano. Quarg/Carey/Ripper used his knowledge to make a time machine that allowed him to see that playing keyboards in a band would be a good earner and also allowed him to blow up the twin towers (They wouldn't play his music in the lifts) and fake the Moon landings whilst dressed in an ape like costume as he wandered around North American forests pretending to be Bigfoot. We wouldn't want any body to think that now would we Gran. Proof We regard the complex plane f(x+iy)=u(x,y)+iv(x,y).} These functions are clearly continuous and are Fréchet-differentiable and that they satisfy the Cauchy-Riemann equation integrals, finishing the proof. Not to be confused with the Fréchet-derivative, of course. Confused? As if!

"Mr Rock & Roll" seems a bit hazy on his Chuck Berry

Jackie was at the Quo Connection gig in Guildford the other night. I think he was mainly there to catch up with the band in the "green room" beforehand. Didn't stay too long into the set - probably past his bedtime!

I'm still of the opinion that there is more than a 50% chance bluehighway was the real deal and that he kept his activity on here secret from his friends, family and colleagues. Once the original denial was made by whoever was managing his accounts it became impossible for him not to go along with it. Might well have been his wife, Marion?, who got upset by the deceit. On 'reduced membership', I just feel that the board's appeal has become more selective..... Just had a look and close to a couple of decent milestones, nearly 1000 members and nearly 200,000 total posts! Not bad for a supposedly unfashionable vintage rock bands message board mk3 or 4??? Also most members online May 1st 2018, someone will have to point out if there was any particular reason for that I've forgotten about. World Asthma Day?

I seem to recall that the Heat album was originally going to be called 'As It Happens' - I must have read that somewhere at the time...but it was a long time ago! Just wondered if that rang a bell with anyone else? I thought that was Whatever You Want, but Dr Feelgood beat them to it

Seems an almost impossible exercise after 1981 - I wouldn't be able to decide what to exclude! So, I've just looked at 1970-81, which is a bit more of a challenge:
Everything
Tune to the Music
Joanne
You Lost the Love
Baby Boy
I'm Giving Up My Worryin’
Stones
Come Rock with Me
Rockin' On
Rock N Roll
Falling in Falling Out
Long Ago
