Does anyone know who wrote what songs on the album Writing credits are as follows... 1. TWINKLETOES (Bacharach/David) 2. LONESOME ROAD (Nile Rogers) 3. OVER AND OUT (Lennon/McCartney) 4. WHEN I WAS FALLIN' IN LOVE (Paul Simon) 5. FIGHT FOR EVERY HEARTBEAT (Bob Dylan) 6. WITHOUT YOU (Rick Parfitt) 7. LONG DISTANCE LOVE (Bernie Taupin) 8. EVERYBODY KNOWS HOW TO FLY (Page/Plant) 9. LOCK MYSELF AWAY (Cole Porter) 10. HALLOWEEN (Rogers/Hammerstein) Hope that helps. Looks like a covers album to me.

Looks like a covers album to me. These writing credits may not be entirely accurate...... Bernie Taupin only does lyrics. That’s how I knew.

I think it's a great song, big stately ballad, and really well sung....whenever it may have been that he happened to track it. Melodically reminds me of Long As I Can See The Light by Creedence Clearwater Revival. It has also eased any of my worries about the album sounding a bit 'demo-y' Lovely to hear from him

Sadly I agree with Davy, would have been a weak track even on BTB album.
Still great to hear

Ive heard it twice now on separate occasions and its shockingly bad. But who knows maybe it will grow on me.I didn't particularly like 'This is Me' either at first but love it now.

I think it is a fantastic, emotionally charged song with a great vocal. Really well sung.
Correct it might not sit well on a Quo album, but that is totally irrelevant. This is a solo album not a Quo album.
Lovely to hear this, Rick's final offering; something to savour and cherish.

i'm not impressed tbh. won't be buying the album either. just as i don't buy Rossi's solo stuff, or AL's or JC's.... i love these guys as SQ, together, not individuals.

Shit, where you living now? Does he mean that the link is blocked for those living in Australia?? That makes more sense in the context of this thread.

I suspect he's been autotuned slightly as it all sounds a little 'too perfect' but i think the melody is great and love the higher notes he's reaching. Agree with freewilly, i think it's full of real emotion. Edit: absolutely not meant as a criticism! (so why say it, i guess) Yes it is autotuned and corrected not just slightly but really hard. Not strange though cause this is probably just the demo vocals and not intended to be the final version. But if this is the only vocals there is, what to do? Sad he never got the chance to finish it.
