Played on the Ken Bruce Show on Radio 2 and now up on YouTube: Definitely Brian May on guitar. In the great scheme of things normally it'd be an OK ballad, but listening now, it's quite special. Thanks for posting that RD, much appreciated.

Very nice . This was originally on Recorded Delivery, so the song must have meant something special to Rick to dust it off after 30+ years. I'm sure he'd be thrilled & grateful to those that made sure it saw the light of day when he was no longer around to see to it himself.

Like the song. Find it hard to listen to for obvious reasons.
He still had his range anyways. Obviously his power had gone but, it makes for a more emotive delivery of the lyrics

The vocals sound pretty awful to my ears,Rick’s voice in the last few years was shot anyway IMO Cheers

There's nothing to say that it's even a 'polished' vocal performance. Being posthumous, the vocal could have been from a demo or anywhere. Have to keep in mind that it's all just edited together and he'd suffered what should have been a life ending heart attack shortly before recording this. Rick never got to perfect the finished product & wasn't physically at the top of his game.
Also, regardless of the song quality it's the last 'new album' stuff we'll ever get from the great man. Even if it's not the best, it's special as it's the last hurrah of our hero & meant a lot to him in his last days. Rick's goodbye to us.
