No. He'll stick to eating his prawn sandwiches in Scarborough. I wasn't at the convention in Minehead because and I'm sorry but I am not interested in it. Who is going to be a big girls blouse and copy and paste this on the other board 😮 You don't have to be sorry about anything....I just thought your opinion was a bit strange,no offense.

You've no interest in going to see two members of Status Quo (3 if we include Bob), who also made the music that made Quo successful and who are not pretending to be Quo I don't care what you do. Each to their own, hope you enjoy it. But, what I just posted, along with the strange responses in the half price ticket thread over there, would make anyone confused. I just read that thread over there and clutching at straws doesn't even come into it. Btw, 2014 wasn't poorly attended. I know, I done enough of them and have seen the figures to back it up.

I went to FF gigs and I am not one of those who said they were poorly attended, because we know they weren't. My brother and I wanted a third tour no doubt about it. But like I have said previous we would have killed for 1 and got 2. Rossi didn't want to do it so that was that. I am one of the fans who enjoyed both bands and went to see both in the same year. I am with paradise flats on this one I can't get into other bands as much especially when the vocals kick in, I just prefer it to be Rossi, but like you say,all to you own.

I can't see why it's strange, opinions differ simple as. I appreciate yours and many others opinion about things but I just stuck with the current Quo that's all.

You want Rossi's vocals, why wouldn't you? We all want that. But, I want Rick's rhythm, Alan's bass lines and soul and John's groove filled, bone crunching drums to provide the Status Quo sound to accompany that. It doesn't matter how good/bad their replacements are or have been, it's not the right sound or feel, no matter how much I enjoyed/loved the gigs before 2013 and 2014. Alan was clearly not fit or well on those tours, yet his bass playing was heavier than Rhino's. I don't know how that is

Rhino uses those Status Basses and fingers good enough to do the job. However Alan has mainly used Fender Mustangs which while short scale have a punchy sound. Bill Wyman used them as well, plus Alan uses a pick which does give a heavier sound. The actual Bass helps a lot though. I posted Rush above and back in the 70s Geddy used Rickenbacker Basses and they are famous for their sound. In the 80s he was using Headless Steinburger basses and to me his sound was much less punchy and tinny to me.

But I have been to many gigs post 86 and a few post 14 and like I've said still enjoy. I haven't been to a gig since Ricks passing tho at the moment.

If it's 350 or 400 - it's still bad! Anyone fancies counting? Click on "Saalplanbuchung": here
Most of the unreserved seats are on Ricks side of the stage... If the grey blobs are the sold seats (and they must be as only the coloured seats are being offered) then about two thirds of the seats are sold. Wikip says the hall has 2100 seats (it doesn't look that many on the diagram, but I can't be bothered to try and count them).

Canny! Random seat coupons, turn up on the night to find out where you are. A way of "stuffing" the unsold seats while leaving a choice of seats on sale full price.

Well I couldn’t resist getting a ticket for reading at that price . In my mind it’s now Francis Rossi’s Quo so I can separate the two bands Cheers

There is not really a demand for Aquostic Quo in germany, there are some fans going because it is different but both aquostic records didn´t sell in germany like in the UK. And this is the nub of the matter. We can all have opinions on why this year's tour isn't selling, but regardless of whether Rick would have been around for it, the decision made by management to have an acoustic tour over a year after a failed acoustic album is proof that Porter clearly does NOT know what he is doing - and should be removed. But the worst of it all is that various lies have been peddled while a man has died, and not one member of the band feels any remorse. I have finished re watching The Who Live in Boston 2002 and throughout the performance you can tell the death of John has hit Pete & Roger hard and their playing throughout still somber when they do talk to the audience they mention John numerous times. Both clearly upset over it all months down the line. Before the encore Tommy suite on the 2 video screens has a photo of John. Not from the show but the first gig after John had passed. Quo and Rossi have done none of that which is totally disrespectful to Rick and what he ment to the band and to so many fans and even now in shows they always show pics of Keith and John.

Monty Python incorporated the late, great Graham Chapman into the shows they put on the other year - I doubt if they'd have even gone ahead with the shows if there'd been any suggestion of him being ignored/forgotten.
