But Groupon is a popular site! That means Quo are popular!
The tickets are half-price...
That just means...
Half-price.
But... but... but...

I worked for a business, that was just starting and, in the first 4 months, we sold our packages on Groupon to raise our profile and to get the ball rolling... I'm kinda sad in a way. My band, my music, what made my life, is reduced to this? Then again, I'm not sad because it's not Status Quo

To be fair I think groupon is used by quite a few artists to shift unsold tickets and not always a reflection of sales previously. But I agree they are definitely struggling with sales even on the normal ticket outlets like ticketbastard Cheers

They've used Groupon before. Pretty sure they did when they played Ingliston near Edinburgh. Ticket price didn't include camping though, so not for me.

At half price...still too expensive for the Panto Rossi Quo experience.

Not a tour though...Never heard of this before for a UK tour

Wouldn't it be interesting, and just putting it out there, if it's that a lot of people actually DO care that Rick is gone, and therefore don't feel it's worth it?

Wouldn't it be interesting, and just putting it out there, if it's that a lot of people actually DO care that Rick is gone, and therefore don't feel it's worth it? There are quite a lot of posters on FB that do care. There are a lot of people who don't, so long as it's called Status Quo, which kind of baffles me but, whatever.
It's like I said the other day to someone, if The Edge was replaced, would it still be U2? Same principal applies here. Whatever about Rossi, he needed Rick more than he thinks

I wouldn't pay for a half price Rossi Quo ticket, but I would pay for a full price John Coghlans Quo ticket, which is still cheaper then watching Groundhog Day Quo play on their tour.

Perhaps an obvious point but from a general point of view they had been wheeled out as the Francis and Rick double act over the decades so even Jo Public would recognize Rick in the street..who would recognise Ritchie or even Rhino and Andy in the road apart from those interested in the band.
No Rick no Quo ,no charm without Rick etc etc is perhaps not just the view of most of us on here...perhaps it does go deeper and the general public have cottoned on to the fact that it is just too diluted now...who knows..who cares.
Peace and love to all.
