Looking forward to hearing how the afternoon session went with Alan, John and Bob. No pressure for comments though. Was great hope that’s enough Cheers More, more please.

Can't write much at the moment as batteries need recharging (mine and the phone)! Safe to say that Sound of Status were amazing. I just wanted to get on here to laugh at 4th Chord . Guess what song they opened with!

No words can describe last night at Minehead, but what I will say is, after Glamdads got the evening started with their entertaining cheesy 70s set of, Showaddywaddy, Smokie, Bay City Rollers, Mud, T.Rex, Sweet etc. Quo-incedence, with their well balanced set of old and new material took the evening up a couple of notches to get us in a party mood, but the Swedish Band Sounds Of Status, just blew the roof off. What a band, what an atmosphere, what a crowd, what a night. Now it's Day 3 and another treat for the ears. I'm looking forward to seeing Backwater, as I've never seen them before, this afternoon, followed by, Jackie Lyndon Band, Young & Moody and the brilliant John Coghlan's Quo. MINEHEAD, LETS ROCK

Words fail me! That was beyond epic! Everyone was in tears afterwards...
Oh and yes Bridspa, Alan and John's bass player both played!
RPJ was great! Sang Rain, Living on an Island and BFM. Said some very touching words about the loss of his Dad.
Alan came on at the end and did Backwater, Roadhouse and BBJ in which everyone else came back on stage to finish. It was emotional to say the least!

Status quo might be in Australia at present, but the real Quo have just rocked fuck out of Minehead for the last 3 days. Hard to put in to words at present because as much as it rocked, it was very emotional. Sweat and tears mingleing !
