I hardly ever listen to the Wireless. Obviously - as it hasn't been called a "wireless" since about 1956.... Wireless Gaga....nah.

Steve Wright Johnny Walker John Peel DLT Alan Freeman Nicky Horne Tommy Vance Ken Bruce But from the list all of which I have heard of but only three that I listened to one of their shows. I don't know if Tommy Vance ever played Status Quo on the Friday Rock show. Although I vaguely remember the NEC being broadcast a second time on the show. The other two I never heard them play Quo either. I'm aware of Peel's support early on and Johnny Walker to. Come to think of it, were they on the radio much ?

Have to include myself on that list as I was a school DJ during the late 70's and always played Quo - much to the disdain of the school with classmates and teachers swarming around me to see if i had anything else to play other than Quo!! Needless to say i didn't last more than two gigs
