Have to include myself on that list as I was a school DJ during the late 70's and always played Quo - much to the disdain of the school with classmates and teachers swarming around me to see if i had anything else to play other than Quo!! Needless to say i didn't last more than two gigs Surprised your TDK 90 cassette taped on Sunday nights containing Boney M , Ottawan ( DISCO) , Grease , Bee Gees , Air Supply , Hot Chocolate , Art Garfunkel , etc , didn't save you ! .?. Didn't mind a bit of Grease at the time. But yeah, it took some persuasion to take Mystery Song off the turntable whilst i was rocking out and completely oblivious to an empty dance floor!!!
