You polish a turd well Colin I can't be kinder I'm used to it.....I support Aston Villa and I like Status Quo.....I've had years of abuse off people for that. Oh....and I drive a Rover....well two actually. How uncool can one man get? I can't comment about Aston Villa because I know nothing about football clubs, but I think I get the comparison idea you are suggesting. Oh, I don't know, a Rover Man can have his attractions...

Full show for those who missed it. Sadly this full gig video has been pulled from YouTube before I had chance to watch it. Any other links around?

Hi ya ROQ...mate, as far as I know Nightcore isn't a metal band but a Norwegian DJ duo that speeds up tracks, like what was done in the techno and trance scene particularly in the 90's and 2000's but has since then extended to other tracks too. Listen to the song and compare with Sabaton and you should be able to hear the music is the exact same, just sped up, you can also hear it in the little bit chipmunk singing in Nightcore's version. I like Sabaton's version By the way Thanks both. I had some hopes of that, but sadly to me they both sound like bands singing ITAN in funny voices. (I'm not a great one for cookie monster vocals, but i do see the point. It sounds wrong here though. Unless they are taking the micky.)

The singer from Sabaton has a quite unusual voice indeed and I realise it's not everyone's taste. For me it's different cos besides Quo I am a big metal fan as well. The version from Nightcore is just Sabaton's version sped up.

I was sure there was a another heavy metal version of ITAN somewhere. doh There's also this cover..., though Laibach are not a metal band, more avant garde/industrial.

Hi therockdoctor. I've had another look on twitter and nothing else comes up. Seems that link was being retweeted a lot! And was popular. Something else may surface in time.

Had Francis just done a line before that interview?

Had Francis just done a line before that interview? I realised how much he was used to doing the double act with Rick, and he was lost without him but hiding it. Or at least trying to. I don't think he was talking very fast, if that's what you were hinting at.

I wonder and worry for his sanity how this guy would manage if everyone was to immediately stop paying attention to him. How would he cope without, suddenly, any attention towards him?
I think it would be exhausting being in someone's company who spends 24/7 trying to be several different people at one time, and goes off on several different tangents at one time as a representation of all the Francis Rossi's he insists on trying to be. A further problem is that each of the tangents contains the same repeating reel of thought so that you end up listening to the same number of different things he is talking about in every interview he does which are about the same things and contain the same words and clichés. Its not just deja vu, its deja vu several times in one hit, proportional to the number of Francis Rossi's speaking at one time.
Trying way to hard is an understatement. And repeating himself is another one. Definite signs of egomania.

I am actually wondering if he ever got the attention he needed when he grew up... he sure seems to have an abnormal hunger for it and big time...must be a pretty depressed life to lead no matter how much money, wealth and all those other things he has...
