A good point and I'm not missing it. But for business reasons, he's keeping the Quo name. Money. The Brand. Much as I enjoy JCQuo, John plays very small venues in comparison. I can't see Francis accepting that. He only filled theatres on his solo tour and the 2nd one was cancelled due to poor ticket-sales. So why would Francis give up the brand that he invented for that? The one he invented, along with Rick, Alan, John and Roy? If it's purely for the love of playing, if it's purely for the love of money, he would have fucked off back in 1981, like he threatened to Yes, that's the one. Sadly, he took the others to court and made sure he kept ownership of the brand. Not pleased by that but that's what happened. Errr. Don't understand your last point because without the Quo brand, he won't get the money. Sure he could play, but numbers would be severely down. And he wouldn't be happy.

Alan took HIM to court - and he kept ownership of the brand. The court would not forbid the use of the Quo brand if it killed the business, which is what the practical outcome would have been.
