I've just listened to On The Level with the bonus tracks. 4 live tracks-ROLD, Gerdundula, Junior's Wailing, Roadhouse. The way Francis says " Juus Waaaii" to introduce Junior's Wailing always makes me smile/laugh. It would've been great if Jim Morrison had lived in general, though even better if Jim had heard QUO's versions of Roadhouse. Nightride ( Parfitt/Young ) the b-side of Down Down got a massive workout on my turntable in 1975, a real'drummers delight' Lancaster's 'Over and Done' and 'Broken Man' are personal faves. 'I Saw The Light' remains one of my fave songs of all time by anyone. This album charted very well in Australia, one chart I saw had it at No.7 for the year. Sheriffs comin'.........

Though not strictly an official album, it would be End of the Road. Its the most played album I've ever listened to. In fact, I use it to run to for my long training runs to keep my rhythm going.

I very rarely play any Quo albums in full now. I tend to cherry pick tracks which take my fancy at the time.

Listened to the Quo album last night in the car...very loudly! Was brilliant. Not listened to any old album properly in years. Drifting away is much better than I remember it, a real crunching, b*****d of a riff, monster sound...cool!

RAOTW the hidden gem of the proper QUO, it took 38 years to realise though , and that's the original not remastered .
