Well, since everyone seems to be arse deep in stuff that doesn't concern them, I thought I'd start a thread for moments that really have/will stick with you for the rest of your days regarding Quo.
For me, the Live album. I'd finished school and my aunt met me at the gate to tell me there was a copy of the Live album left aside at one of the record shops in the town at the time. So me and about 6 others all legged it as fast as we could go across the town. Only one copy left, and it was mine. Me and my mates got on the bus reading through the inner notes and credits, track listing, etc. anticipating what would unfold. Got to the house, we all bolted upstairs, HIFI on, volume loud, record on the deck, dropped the needle...
"Is there anybody out there who wants to ROCK?!"

Standing in the Apollo as a fourteen year old boy and watching as a bloke in a strange sailor type hat belted out "IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE THAT WANTS TO ROCK?" I had no feckin idea who he was (although I've since met him and he's a top bloke)...I had no idea what was coming. I fucking do now. Too many to list, really...but just the friendships made and the people I've met and the things I've done that I would never have been able to do without this band. A massive part of my life. Funny how you've never mentioned that until now... In all seriousness though, that must've been f**king unreal.

The first time I saw them in '75 only knowing POMM. What a way to hear songs I've never heard before. What a set!!!!!

Not having seen them in their prime, it has got to be the reunion gigs for me. 2014 was particularly special as I was about 12' from Alan's mike then met him and Bob in the hotel afterwards.

'Love me babe love me when I'm down'... I swear every single person immediately stood on their seats

Half way through 4500 Times in May 1982 (my first Quo gig and as for many people here, a turning point in my brain.)
Getting my arm signed by Francis Alan and Rick at Hammersmith a year or two after. It was interesting watching their differing arm/Biro management styles, for a start.
The gig where 4500 and Gerdundula were both reprised some time in the 90s.
Writing a teenage-style poem about 3 days out about suddenly remembering that Quo sound during the day when doing something else. No idea where the poem is now (just as well probably) but I still remember the feeling. I still get it occasionally.

The WYW, JS and NTL albums. Different from the period MKSG-BFY, but also much better for me then both RAOTW and IYCSTH. I would have loved to see where it would have gone if they had stayed together and continued after NTL with the FF. All three abums have a very special meaning to me, particularly NTL cos they helped me through one of the toughest periods in my life
The reunion gig in Hammersmith 2014 and finally seeing the ff !

Three solid albums in my opinion. Definitely better than the previous 2 as you say.

Walking up to Hammersmith Apollo and seeing STATUS QUO - THE FRANTIC FOUR on the famous sign outside on the 15th March 2013. I avoided the forums and the setlist in the run up to the gigs. When the curtain dropped and I saw the four of them stood there posing for the Hello album cover, I don't think I've ever made so much noise in all my life. Then again, I wasn't the only one...

Honestly? Seeing them live for the first time and having the drone pierce your body, whilst the blue lights roam... The curtain dropping and the roar of the crowd before they became a sea of mobile phones...

Legging it home from school with a cassette that a mate had done for me - RAOTW on side A, OTL on B....I nearly broke the old music centre in my haste to play it!
Manchester O2 Apollo, 12th March, 2013. The day my dream of seeing the FF came true. Fackin' AWESOME...I was blubbering when that curtain dropped!

So many!
Zurich last year - the place was rammed out and there was such a vibe in the hall- great atmosphere from start to finish.
Heavy Traffic- the album was great, the Ark Royal was fab and Quo were getting great reviews and were back in TOTP due to a single doing well . Again, everything was coming together at that time.
