Hi All, While I understand why they release the already recorded albums as Deluxe editions, what I cannot understand is why don't simply just release a double or triple album from all Quo's out put of un released material demos et.etc. Instead of expecting the fan to buy an extra copy of an already released album they probably have in their collection why not make a special box set for them ?
I can see it from the point of view about the remixing of tracks making them sound this way or that way but essentially they are all just remastered versions of what we already have are they not ? Whoever came up with the idea is making money above all else ?
Having said all the above I will more than likely invest in the Blue For You album....
Geoff. Because it's Quo we're talking about here. Their management and the band are money grabbing c**ts.

If You Can't Stand The Heat should get the John Eden remix treatment like Rockin' did... and if they're going to do remastered deluxe editions they should actually properly remaster them and not just EQ the track as a whole... I wouldnt class these as remasters but clean ups of the original versions, EQ'ing the track and throwing compression on it

Not sure how it works sorry. As you can tell I'm not an expert in any of this stuff, I just like listening and playing it...

I reckon one or 2 given the pounding Piledriver treat would work out okay.I always liked Gonna Teach You To Love Me.

The main reason I want John Eden to get his hands on the tape is because there's "supposedly" a longer intro to Accident Prone but was cut by Pip. I remember someone mentioning it on a past message board

Wasn't the intro for WYW similar to what the intro to AP would've been? It could've been Rick pointed that out.

Hi All, Going off at a tangent slightly please! This is concerning the re-issues of the vinyl album collection of both 77-80(2015) and 81-96(Due for release 24/02) does anybody know if these are original pressing re-issues or the remastered album put onto vinyl ? while we are on the subject....
Geoff.

Some great songwriting on IYCSTH I thought Viv; I'd be interested to hear the songs without the backing singers and brass. Was it the first album the Rossi/Frost combo appeared?

I think it was because Again and Again to me sounded like a parody of themselves. Although it is rocking it just seemed too predictable and the lyrics were corny. I also disliked Long Legged Linda (sorry Boss). A lot of the others sounded too middle of the road 'poppy' and all the production and the brass jusy didn't seem right to me. I didn't mind the backing singers so much.
