www.statusquo.org.uk/pages/news2016.htmThere's a bit of info on this site. ( SQ collectors page) but only says that they will release deluxe versions of BFY, JS and NTL but that was dated back in September so not sure if that's still going ahead as there's been no news since

What is de-luxe exactly?Funny that the best received album by the band for a long while was a de-mixed digitally un-enhanced unviewed through the pretentious prism collection of songs from 1977 called Rocking All Over The World.

I reckon Stafford Bingley Hall bootleg for Blue For You Or Tokyo Quo as while that was with a Live Box Set it was expensive so this will be a cheaper version. Like the 73 concert, first on expensive BBC box set. Later on cheaper Piledriver Deluxe version.

What other demos are there for Blue For You other than Wild Side of Life? and for Never Too Late they'll probably have the Something 'Bout You Baby I Like Acoustic guitar track, Falling In/Falling Out vocal track were Rick says he saw Barbara Dickson on his way in and the 10 minute version of Mountain Lady

I don't mind as long as we're not fobbed off with more live tracks with chronic sound quality...I'd much rather have demos. Or even studio outtakes!

YLTL, MS single, WSOL, ATTN, WSOL Demo. Plus I suspect that Getting Better will be put on there. As it's really a 76 track it did kind of fit better on the RAOTW 2005 remaster.

When will the day come when QPQ deluxe is released with "found in the bogs adjacent to the vaults" live reverse phased demos. The CD cover will look nice next to my telegram from King Charles 111

I always laugh at the initials game.So the new tracks are You Like Terrible Lentils,My Snot, Who Shat On Larry, Any Turds To Newham.

Who Shat On Larry? Probably some honky tonk angel for whom the glamour of the gay life was getting too much.

Hi All, While I understand why they release the already recorded albums as Deluxe editions, what I cannot understand is why don't simply just release a double or triple album from all Quo's out put of un released material demos et.etc. Instead of expecting the fan to buy an extra copy of an already released album they probably have in their collection why not make a special box set for them ?
I can see it from the point of view about the remixing of tracks making them sound this way or that way but essentially they are all just remastered versions of what we already have are they not ? Whoever came up with the idea is making money above all else ?
Having said all the above I will more than likely invest in the Blue For You album....
Geoff.
