I've seen a few fans comment that they thought 2014 was slightly worse than 2013. This really surprised me, as I thought the 2014 performances were better (probably due to extra rehearsal time). For me the crowds were equally amazing on both
Wondering what you lot thought....

I opted for "both". 2013 was great because it was the first time in however many years etc. etc. 2014 was great because I had a good spot right in front of Alan, I saw him & Bob in the hotel afterwards and the support (Wilko) was much better.

Equally great for different reasons. I'm glad they did 2 tours. 2013 was just surreal and very exciting, but hard to get away from that and concentrate. 2014 I could get down and headbang/sing a lot more.

I would just marginally go for 2014. Can't remember why. We had worse seats, too, and I had a terrible time getting home on the train. Maybe it was the sheer joy of knowing they were giving it a second go

I went for both. 2013 was, as someone else said, surreal. I never thought I'd be there again! I was so excited and wound up. But the sound mix was disappointing because never having stood before, I didn't realise how it could distort being much closer. Hearing the recording was much better. So that marred that first gig a tad. But only a little bit.
2014 was amazing and I went twice. I knew what to expect and neither night disappointed. There may have been minor flaws/fluffs between all 3 gigs but not enough for me to notice. And yes, Wilko and his band were magic. I didn't like the support act all in 2013.

I went both, but I prob enjoyed 2013 more. The first night in Manchester, Glasgow, and first time at hammy.
Second tour, I opted for Glasgow and Dublin. I left hammy out as I was convinced they would be back, biggest quo regret ever.

Both!
2013 was something I never expected to happen, especially after all this time. I was completely euphoric, walking on air!
2014 was undoubtedly a better performance by Quo & one that I was better able to appreciate - these were the only Status Quo gigs for me since '86, when I made the mistake of giving the post-Live Aid line-up a chance, only to realise they just didn't sound all that much like Quo anymore.
It's a tragedy that it took so long to get 'round to it in the first place & even more so that we won't see them together again, almost certainly. However, at least I was able to take my daughter to the gigs with me so she could see what the fuss was all about - she was somewhat gob-smacked by the power of the event in 2013, I don't think she'd been to a concert where the crowd was more akin to a football terrace!
Now I'd rather go & see John Coghlan's Quo.

Both for me. The first tour was amazing and a dream come true but I was genuinly surprised just how magical it was. Yes I knew the original 4 would be great together... maybe older, a bit rough round the edges, maybe a bit more laid back than frantic.... So when we knew it was going to happen, although excited, I was not expecting too much. However after that first gig at Hammy, I knew that I had completely underestimated the impact of this reunion. I bitterly regretted not going to more of the gigs especially the first at Manchester. Also missing out on the camaraderie of the fans at The Distillers pre-show. So when the second tour was announced I was ecstatic that we were going to get another chance. This time I knew what to expect (as Dennis said) and the anticipation and participation of the gigs and the excitement of being a part of the online community and with real life fans at the pre-shows was an experience I will always treasure. Musically there were some things I preferred from 2013 e.g. MOTT and how it was followed by ASS&W. But then 4500x was improved dramatically in 2014! I just wish that the option of a few one off specials could have been left open as a possibility and not immediately written off.

Both
Don't see how anyone can vote otherwise
2013- Literally a life changing experience for me. Even now, I can't believe I went in there, thinking Rossi's CQ would be better. I still love quite a lot of the output and gigs between 86 and 2012 but, that first FF gig I attended made me feel like a fraud and someone who literally never had a clue 2014- We had something to compare it to. A lot tighter, they seemed a lot more relaxed and less on edge and Dublin was the best gig I ever went to, along with U2, on 3 dates, in the same arena

I only went in 2013. It was ... Friday night at The Hammy, The Crowd.. The Quo... MOTT... Tears flowing fom my eyes. Even the queue to the CD delivery booth afterwards,,What a night!
Then TAFKAR spoketh.... and I will say no more. He doesn't want me in the crowd, or in the record store/Tesco anymore.
What a band it was.....

I saw them 8 times. The version of 4500 times alone made it superior. Best gigs were in no order were Hammersmith(Friday),Glasgow(Wednesday) and Dublin. John's playing was much better on this tour. Rick's playing was much more relaxed as he realised he could play without a net. He was much more apprehehensive in 2013. The best atmosphere was Glasgow by miles. 2013 was great. On an emotional level the return of Status Quo as I loved them. The few surprises in the set. That first Glasgow gig was spine tingling. But 2014 was better no doubt about it.
