Quo frontman Franchise Rossi tells the Mirror why the band will keep touring with the electric guitars blasting. "We only stopped because we were worried about Rick and the effect on his health. Now that we have fucked him off got the all clear from Rick we have decided to carry on without the bastard legend that is Rick. The accountant fans want us to continue so the amps will be out again next year.On a personal note I would like to wish Rick good health and hope we don't meet in court because it's all mine now.The Irish lad knows his place like Rhino Andy and #5.

As sad as this makes me, I think it was the best decision Rick could make. I hope everything will go well for Rick the coming years..

Actually, for selfish reasons, I'm glad he's pulled the pin so's now I won't have that image of him strumming away over yonder into the blue Pacific on that boat cruise next year. His last performance was with his mighty Tele and that's a good thing. It was simply jaw dropping watching Rick Parfitt play live and even when I'm a very old fella, I'll always have that image of him just rocking away nice n loud. Upon reading Ricks announcement,I'll be throwing the 'QUO' cd on in my car during my ride to work this morning....very loud of course.

A fiasco of an ending but totally inevitable. I hope to God all of these venues on LNOTL tour are half empty. John,Alan and now Rick have confirmed that they prefer Quo to be a rock band and Francis' defenders across many past and present Quo sites, can no longer defend him.

It seems that he was happy enough to go along with it until "he fell over". And now that he's more or less out of Quo, he's quietly running them down.
That's Rick's own assessment of his health, not his doctor's. In other interviews with Rick, he says he can't handle the stress of going back on stage. So which is true?

Good decision Rick. obviously his health comes first here but hopefully somewhere down the road he might get together with JC & AL and put a few shows on - now that would be worth seeing quorp quojc quoal

I bet, health permitting, he turns up at a few JCQ gigs. Here's hoping!! Worth a bit of travelling across the North Sea once again.....

I reckon Rick has been told to put up or shut up for a while now. Look at the FF final fling interview. That wasn't a man wanting to do Bula Quo or acoustic stuff. He knew to get paid, he'd need to go along with Frame and management. Now he's effectively 'out', he can speak more bluntly. Just my speculation on it.

That interview was very telling and let the cat out the bag. Although one sad thing about that interview was the childlike innocence of Rick asking the world's most rhetorical question: "What about me? Don't I get a say in this?".

I'm just glad my last gig was last year in Birmingham right at the front in front of Rick.
The guy was my hero as a kid and still is.
Rossi is such a twat.
