Sorry, did I say new releases? I meant to say re-issues... how silly. earMUSIC have announced re-issues of the following: 3rd Re-issue in 7 yearsDon't Stop (once again, using the 2006 Tim Turan remaster) Under The Influence The Party Ain't Over Yet (including 3 "exclusive" and "rare" live tracks that have definitely not been featured on several releases since 2006) In Search Of The Fourth Chord (CD and Vinyl) (This is a "new" album apparently) "earMUSIC proudly announces that it will release the new Status Quo album “In Search For The Fourth Chord” in the United Kingdom."Quid Pro Quo Bula Quo Frantic Four Reunion, Wembley 2013 (CD / DVD / Blu-Ray, although they can't get the setlist right in the description, as it's the 2014 setlist...) Frantic Four Reunion, Hammersmith 2013 Final Fling, Dublin (CD / DVD / Blu-Ray) statusquo.tmstor.esI think this has genuinely pushed so many Quo fans Over The Edge (see what I did there ), as I have seen nothing but negative remarks in-regards to this and I am all for it. They cannot continue to take the piss out of us, as Quo fans, by rehashing the same things over and over. Happy shopping to those that do buy them, but it's not for me.

Just to cut to the chase because it seems a lot to take in. Is there anything that we haven't heard before or in a format that hasn't been previously available? Vinyl for example. I'm pretty sure I've already got all of them on vinyl but I'd have to go check. Which is why I'm looking for the quick answer from The Oracle

For a band that’s built on being no fuss, down to earth and loyal to their army of fans, they sure know how to bleed them dry.

I suppose it begs the question: what's new or different, if anything?
The mention of the ltd edition 6 disc set seems rather odd as it's clearly not included in this set of releases. Somebody should be paying a little more attention to detail, imo.

I notice if you click on an album, which I did because the colour of the vinyl with one or two looked interesting (although it's hardly a major selling point) you get this: * product may differ from image displayedSo what you see may not be what you get. Which immediately puts you off pre-ordering anything if you were thinking about it. I don't mind being exploited. I wouldn't have got this far if I did But it would be nice to have something - anything - that I hadn't seen or heard before. If there isn't anything, fair enough. But I find that hard to believe. 60 years of recording will produce something gathering dust somewhere. Quo are not alone in this by the way. I get e-mails daily from eil.com and almost all new vinyl is an old release with nothing 'new' to recommend it. Different coloured or patterned vinyl or 180gm which seems to be a big thing. Or ' lovingly restored from the original master tapes' or some such. I think we should report this to Age Concern

If the track list is correct (a thing that I doubt) maybe what the press release statement says of ISOTFC is One By One was the bonus track in europe and UK got I Ain't Wasting My Time, and One By One wasn't release in the UK before. But I don't know about that as I don't mind about the contine reissues of those albums, maybe it was reissued before.

Would be madness to include one less song than on the previous reissue, but these decisions don't seem guided by sanity...
Interesting (well, a bit): QPQ and BQ lack the bonus discs of the widespread original versions, whereas TPAOY keeps recycling the same bonus CD.

Are these Vinyl or CD....? Yes they have been released numerous times in the last few years which will piss a lot of people off, but there are two ways of looking at this, One if they don't sell and get withdrawn they will rise in value...? If they do sell you have multipal numeroes versions....? So is it Win, Win either way.

Hello everyone, new member alert!
Quo signed to Edel/Ear Music in 2013. Fourth Chord licenced all recordings from this date to Edel for everywhere except UK/Ireland.
I generally collect all UK/European releases, plus odd other ones (Japan and US).
I checked the barcodes and catalogue numbers of the reissues, they directly match existing releases available on Edel/Ear Music in Europe.
In the UK, Fourth Chord licenced recordings to ADA/Warner, Virgin/EMI/Universal etc.
With Backbone and Best of the Noughties it was just Edel/Ear Music, so it just makes sense to standardise?
