On March 1, 1973, Status Quo performed live at the Paris Theatre in London. They performed an hour-long set, featuring two tracks from their latest album (Piledriver): Don't Waste My Time and Paper Plane. This copy of the show comes from an unedited tape source, featuring full versions of songs like Someone's Learning and all of Francis Rossi's audience banter.

Fantastic to hear those recordings - loud and clear too, although the audience seems a mite unenthused! Over 50 years ago, it all seems like another world. I was still in primary school and just starting to listen to Radio Luxembourg. Little did I know then that the boogie and shuffle of Quo was just around the corner for me! Thanks for posting Quoincidence.

It may have been recorded on 1 March 1973 but I'm as sure as I can be after 50 years that it wasn't broadcast on that date. I saw Quo live on 22 March 1973 and it was after that. My mate at school recorded it on his new fangled cassette recorder and we listened to it endlessly. I wonder if he still has it? I doubt it. I haven't even seen him for nearly 40 years. A truly fabulous memory. We played it in school but it wasn't well received by those of a prog persuasion. Of which there were many. Fvck 'em was our attitude

That's not Mike Harding who is introducing them, it's Alan Black.

That's not Mike Harding who is introducing them, it's Alan Black. I'd give a listen to the end of the Roadhouse Blues videos as he's reading off the credits for the show, as he says "My name has been, and still is, Mike Harding"
