Surprised that didn't become more popular.
Still love it... Lyrics are great

Godawful Quo-by-numbers cack.
Easily the worst thing on its parent album.

Thought it was OK. Nothing more. Not keen on the video for it either. By the time that came out, I thought the playing 'live', larking around thing was getting a bit tiresome. Of course, that style of video didn't stop there. I've always thought there was too much of a similarity with Can't Give You More for some reason, especially the chorus. If I whistled one, I tended to end up whistling the other. Probably just me

To be honest when it came out I was just glad I could hear the guitars after Thirsty Work and Dont Stop.
But yeah, on reflection it does sound a bit like a nursery rhyme. Not sure I’ve listened to UTI in over 15 years

Not sure I’ve listened to UTI in over 15 years I was just thinking that. Bearing in mind what had come immediately before - 5 years of hiding behind the sofa waiting to see what they were going to come up with next - this represented something of an improvement. Or a light at the end of a tunnel. Or at least a tunnel. Originally meant to be called Velvet Wings I think.

Could do with more of that sort of thing when out shopping instead of the rubbish played now.

Could do with more of that sort of thing when out shopping instead of the rubbish played now. I think I'm with you on this. I heard one a while back in Tesco and it was awful. I mean, truly awful. So bad I Shazamed it (an app that identifies music) on my phone to find out what it was. Turned out to be Ed Sheeran with a song called Perfect. Sounded like a duet to me although it didn't say that - one of those dreadful sloppy ones that are the first dance at those weddings you never want to be at. But your partner does I'm no Ed Sheeran fan. Bits and pieces are listenable and he's obviously talented. But that song has to be one of the worst, if not THE worst, I've ever had the misfortune to hear. In a very long life of listening to music. It made Tommy sound like Slow Train Right, that's that off me chest. Sorry, Ed

I've always teetered on the edge of thinking this is an OK song, then finding it's not as good as I thought it might be. Good lyric though. It always reminds me of mayflies. (The ones with the big floppy velvety wings. They only last 24 hours apparently.)

I actually thought the video was a small stroke of genius. People's band and all that. It seemed pretty real. No one was there because they didn't want to be. Was sort of candid, a tiny bit cringey, but i think genuinely for the sake of fun and not trying too hard. Aware of what they had become, which is fine.

I’m only in one shot behind frame a couple of minutes in - but I spent the day there and watched it all being made
