Great riff throughout this one. I've always found that Francis's guitar interruptions, especially during the outro, get in the way a bit. The riff going on in the background is superb and the track would have benefitted from letting that just play out. But that's being a bit picky and only a personal view. It's a pretty good start to a very good album. A watershed album for me. 8/10

Great Rossi/Bown track and good album production by Mike Paxman.

Great start of the album. Don't know why they don't do it on the tour. They played a playback on the Ark Royal.

Great song just a shame it sounds so flat along with the rest of the album. Worst sound quality on HT than any album spare spare parts.

Great song as you'd expect from one having Andy involved. I absolutely loved this album when it came out, the first return to form since RTYD in terms of song writing and arrangements. The only let down which prevented a very good album being a true Quo classic was, as expected, the flat, workaday, tedious production from Paxman. I've never understood why Francis was so enamoured of his work with Quo that he used him more than once. I know Rick was mightily unimpressed with everything that Paxman had a hand in. Strange when his work with some other artists was top quality. He never really "got" Quo and what sound was needed to make them sound like... Quo.

Love it, great song
"modern" Quo classic. Love the album, the gripes over the production don't stop me enjoying it. Almost 20 years on....HT hasn't been a phase, I'm always going to like it

A great song. I like the autobiographical ones.

Great song, I dare say one of their best since 1976. Even with Quo you sometimes hear something new in songs you've heard many times. Never heard that beautiful Cm9 chord at 2:27 before!

It’s ok. Better than so much other stuff they’ve done this century. But like most of the album, terrible production. Can tell a mile off Rhino didn’t write this. Always wanted to hear it live.

After a decade of tripe this signalled they were back. Kudos to paxman for getting the magic circle back. Great song, intro and lyrics
Unfortunately it features his trademark “recorded in a cardboard box” sound.

Great song but soundwise it could and should have been a whole lot better. The 'cardboard box' comment above is spot on.
