Yeah, it's great. Some people say it's Quo by numbers but I don't think so. It's a rocker! Love the slide guitar on this one.

one of a couple on Hello! that slightly grate on me, I think it's the lyrics rather than the music.

Brilliant! Love the way the story evolves through the song!

Love it. Everything about it is brilliant! What I particularly love is the slide guitar. Its so unmistakabley Francis, it could only be him

Dont see it as Quo by numbers at all , that didnt happen till later. It's a track that has grown on me and I do appreciate it much more than I did back in the day. I still however hear a Sooty and Sweep argument with the guitars . Really do need to get past that before I can say I rate it a bit higher than I currently do.

Absolutely brilliant! Would have been great to include in the set during the reunions! Strange that they didnt use slide more during the years (I can only remember this one and one song from UTI, but there may be some more?)

Rick finds religion. First time round A bona fide classic. It has to be. It's from Hello! There's nothing 'by numbers' about it. Quo couldn't do anything by numbers this early. It was only 1973. Love it, love it, love it. 12/10

Feels totally unique as a Quo song, perhaps that's the slide and lyrics, dunno, but it's a rocker like no other
And as such, it's great
There's only the few slow bars at the end, making you want more
For years thought that it was an anti religion song. When the band crash in I don't think I much listened to the words after that.
As big a Quo fan as I am, there's loads of Quo songs where I really don't know what the lyrics are, or I probably have them wrong
And that's fine. I don't love the band for any intellectual reason! 😁

I certainly remember drawing a comparison at the time. Probably just teenage angst

I've sometimes seen it said the other way ( I have no clue either way 😁)
