great song. b side to raotw here in australia And in the UK. Played live very briefly I think before it was dropped. Although I never managed to catch it. Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to leap through the decades at a single bound. A super track

The Blue Eyed Lady of Blue For You, b side almost insults the song.

great song. b side to raotw here in australia And in the UK. Not in Spain. The B-Side is For You. Brilliant song. Never try to play it in the guitar/bass. Too fast.

I never got this song, at all. Don't like the melody, the song itself is too fast, too frantic (see what I did there 😂)and to my ears all over the place.

Probably quos most complex song. Unpredictable and surprising while still keeping that ear for a melody
Brilliant.

Too frantic for me, it's almost like they wanted to get to song as quick as possible, bus to catch?

Could it be that they were under the influence of the same drug that led to Mystery Song?

BFY was Quo's speed album, no doubt about it. Francis explicitly mentions this when announcing ITABW at Montreux... saying they probably won't play it at quite the same speed as on the record.
Also Rolling Home sounds totally breathless.
Ring of a Change is OK but probably one of the band's poppiest songs since the early days. It's only the drive that masks this to a degree. The backing vocals point forward to Bernie's larger involvement (he doesn't get a credit but as I suggested on another thread, he was probably already involved).
