I saw Heaven and Hell in Nottingham arena in 2007. It was the full arena size and I estimate it wasn't even 1/3 full.
I suppose they gambled on what the demand would be for this band.
None the less, they gave it 110%.
It was an excellent show.

Yes... I saw Uriah Heep a long time ago together with 300 peeps... They just came from a russian tour with an average attendance of 30.000. But they gave it all they had.. Great show!

I was one of about 35 punters who saw Thunder in Middlesbrough, 1989. Great gig!

I saw the FF in 2013 and 2014 where the venues were virtually empty with huge sections curtained off.
Ooops, sorry, wrong Quo forum....

StatusNo's first gig was in Tannochside United Social Club in Uddingston at the end of 2010. We were supporting another band. There were about twenty folk there (if that), every single one of them was honking with the drink, they were all at least 60, and not one of them was a Quo fan. The gig was interrupted by the club sectetary as he wanted Billy (our bass player) to draw the winning raffle ticket out of a pint tumbler. Despite being clearly advertised as a "Status Quo tribute band", some bellend kept shouting "GEEZ THE KILLERS!" after every song. Great fun.

I saw Paul Rodgers at Hammersmith a few years ago. Great show but at best half full. Also, the tight git played barely 90 minutes including a reunion with the remaining members of Bad Company for the second encore...

Aye, I do wonder whether he's a bit blighted by people mainly wanting to hear him in Bad Company. I saw him performing a set based on his album The Royal Sessions & it's the only time I've seen them relocate people from the upper tiers down to the lower. More recently at the same venue he was performing all the old Free classics & there was a decent turnout but the place was far from full - I'd have thought it would have been rammed.

Hi voice is still phenomenal (from when I last saw him and Bad Company in 2016 I think it was). I didn't go to the Free classics tour because of the price plus I knew he would barely scrape 75 minutes. Perhaps others feel the same? also I have to admit I much prefer him to sing the Bad Company tracks rather than anything else in his catalogue.

I think the smallest gig I ever went to was a Hawkwind tribute. It wasn't quite three people and a dog, I think there were two dogs. They broke up a while after. Pity, they were good.

However, my personal preference is for the Free material over the Bad Co. stuff. You're right about the price though - I went up to the Albert Hall even though he was playing Pompey Guildhall as the prices for Pompey were ridiculous.

I appreciate his voice but in honesty, I’m not keen on Free or Bad Company. The Mrs loves both. So I have been dragged along a few times. Bad Company just seems a bit basic rock with a great singer. A very good pub band. The only time I’ve really enjoyed a Paul Rogers gig was the Muddy Waters tribute tour he did. Great band he and. Includ8ng Jason Bonham.

I'd like to have seen that, the Muddy Water Blues album was excellent, imo.

Yes it was, part of the Blues Fest thing with Ritchie Sambora and Orianthi supporting. That was well attended even if the whole of the top wasn't open from memory. Paul Rodgers has had a long career, par for the course everyone has favourite eras.
