Anyone know of his whereabouts these days?
Back on Rickys board we got an update of his life after Quo and it was a bit of a sad story, so I'm just wondering if things ever turned around for him since then.
The said post from Rickys board;
Story Of Bernie Frost:
He's had lots and lots of nothing but bad luck!
He lost a rented house (after an army of police kicked him and his family put due to not paying rent) cause of his lack of money managing and also cos an old manager (David walker) wasn't really treating him as well as he could have.
His family were left homeless. With nowhere to go they had to sleep rough for many weeks. He has the utmost respect for Francis and always stuck up for him. Bernie has just given up and just survives now.

From Francis interview in 2001
Yes, that's right. He literally disappeared! My best friend for years and years and years... I helped him with his rent. He got in some sort of trouble, he had to pay this and pay for that. I went on tour in October and... he had to move...and... I haven't heard from him since. I don't even have his phone number. Again, as Rick says, things happen for a reason. I don't know why Bernie disappeared. I don't know where he is. I don't know what he's doing, I haven't the foggiest idea what he's doing... He never even phoned me and said "thank you for this" or "thank you for that", or "bollocks", or anything... so I just don't even know where he is. It's actually over a year now... just nothing! We didn't have a confrontation or anything. If I had gone through the thing of saying that "I'm going to write with Bob now" there was going to be friction. But there can't be any friction there because I don't even know where Bernie is! I remember him saying "I won't be able to write songs anymore", I mean... fine. I can't say "oh, please...", you know. If you don't want to write songs you don't want to write songs. Simple as that.

Thanks for that paradiseflats Strange how he decided to just be that way in the end after so long. It’s very odd and stranger that the music press never looked into it or a scum sheet.

Shouldn't Bernie still be entitled to royalties from tracks he worked on with Quo/cowrote?

Shouldn't Bernie still be entitled to royalties from tracks he worked on with Quo/cowrote? Unless he was conned into selling his royalty entitlement - he wouldn't be the first!

A bit different I know, but look at Pete. After the band reformed (for purely artistic reasons) to record the Army album, Pete stated the phone never rang. No-one even bothered to let him know. Silence. Same as Bernie by the sound of it. Appreciate Frame has his side to the story too. No doubt the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

I was/always baffled at the unexplained exit of Matt Letley.
I was told off record a reason but can't say I know it's true.
It seemed so bizarre, the best drummer they'd has since JC?!..
