I think Alan hit wrong notes on some songs, don't remember exactly where.

In short, they all made mistakes (forgive me), but that was how they were... and there was no act that could compete with them... imho

It's been years since I heard that album, but from memory, I don't remember hearing any. Nothing obvious anyway. As FW says, all live musicians make mistakes - anyone who says they don't is either a liar, an arrogant bastard, or both. Listen to "Made in Japan" and wallow in the majesty of the cock-up Ritchie makes in 'Smoke on the Water'. 'Live and Dangerous' by Lizzy is overdubbed to the point that it's almost a studio album. Mistakes in live music are part of its charm. I make plenty at every gig I play. So does every guitarist I know. Who cares?....except the anally obsessed...usually folk who aren't in bands, but love to sit in judgement on others who are. The world 'live' mistake champeen is Jan Akkerman playing on Focus 'Live'.It's more a case of is he going to get it right than he's made a mistake.

Yes Sir! Don't forget the full name "The Impeccable Franchise Rossi's Current Panto Quo Greatest Hits Roadshow, performed flawlessly, spotless, immaculate and with gusto, with a thousand elephants! An evening for the close(S)t fans", before they cut down on poster space and costs..
