I am going to start a nationwide campaign for more FF. Maybe some of our Dutch and German friends will help to make it Europe wide. Any ideas on how to get media coverage will be welcomed.
I have a good history and success rate with this sort of thing following my Campaign to Save Scooby Doo in the 70s. So watch this space

So watch this space I hardly think your idea to relaunch Scooby Doo with the addition of Scrappy Doo could be constituted a full success with the benefit of hindsight. Hi All, Carl, This:- "Some with eyes closed and heads bopping, others heads down playing air guitar, this was a gig that truly meant something to sections of the audience." Tamworth Herald - Wolves 3apr2014 Review.
The quote above is your tribute and what your true emotional attachment is with the FF like myself, rockinon and every other FF fan I just wonder though if FR really deep down does not have that same feeling when you consider the ecstatic warm and heart felt reception on both reunion tours at all the gigs ? With all that emotion that poured out from the fans then flowing from them to the band as it did surely it must have affected Francis as it certainly affected Rick,John and Alan so why not with Francis ? It seems he was a bit nonplussed with all of the furore of the gigs and the fans reaction if his statements in the media are to be believed. I for one cannot believe that he was not affected by all that emotion you could almost taste it in the atmosphere, you were at the same gig as me ? Did I not hear him say "I missed him so much" then give him an enormous hug or was that just for show ?
I really have found it disheartening and quite sad really when reading the negatives in the media or watch him make comments in video clips that are literally the complete opposite of what we and the other fans witnessed at wolves that night. I cannot be the only fan that felt like a family member had passed away when Quo announced they had decided to split, quite simply I thought my world had collapsed.
Well that was until I heard what I thought was a Quo track driving down to Cornwall, it was a couple of days later when I heard Rolling home again on the radio being promoted, Quo but not the Quo as I had known them none the less they were back. I couldn't believe JC and AL were not in the line up but hey! I could accept the change begrudgingly and while not the real Quo as I had known them I was still a fan but morning the loss of not seeing the original line up.
Fast forward to 2011/12 and the rumour mill had started then it was on I couldn't believe it the rest is history now, if it could affect me like it did with the emotional attachment that had been built up over the years surely the same could be said for FR when I witnessed and heard him say "I MISSED HIM SO MUCH!!!!" so why is he being portrayed as not interested in more reunion tours either that or it's a fantastic marketing ploy the same as no new material from either Quo I would like to have at least one last FF stand alone album along with a stand alone CQ album or like I mentioned before a double with both Quo's for one final tour featuring all line ups that would make all fans happy I think....?
Geoff.
