Seems to me thats the way to go now. No doubt Francis would be uncomfortable with the idea yet Quo is fast sliding into oblivion so maybe just maybe ?

Nice to see you again, townsvillequo ! I don't see that this would work. The loafer man won't let it happen.

Think its very highly unlikely - the conceivable permutation of FF members had been Rick, Alan and John but that possibility has obviously sadly gone. The renewed indifference between Francis vs Alan/John makes it extra unlikely alongside the very different musical interests and perspectives that clearly exist between them.

Can't see it happening either Seems to me that things are more distant than ever between them since Rick passed away. There is plenty of evidence sadly to show this

Remember anyone when most said 'there will never be a reunion' ? I remember the days when me and a few others believed there would be.

The Frantic 3 and what about the rhythm player form State of Quo ? Reckon he could pull it off if he put his mind to it.

Remember anyone when most said 'there will never be a reunion' ? I remember the days when me and a few others believed there would be. That is very true, and I for one was very delighted to be proved wrong about that
But this time we are in a new territory that has no turning back. Based on his distance, both personally and musically, from both Alan and John, plus the incentive (as he sees it) of having a youth element in the LNOTE band to give it maximum extension time, nothing is going to tempt him this time. On the contrary to any temptation, sadly he would view this topic suggestion as complete anathema
He has consigned anything to do with the FF and its members to the dustbin.

I would think that there is not a snowballs chance in hell that this will happen. The idea also horrifies me!
It would not be something I would want to see as it would degrade both Alan and John to have to work with Rossi and the results without Rick would be highly disappointing.
'Mr White Socks and Loafers' would only do this after every other option has failed him and Porter then has a brilliant marketing idea to squeeze the last few shekels out of the easily duped 'fans'. They would then be happy to resurrect ideas of the fans all playing with themselves in the Hammersmith Odeon at the nostalgia which would now be a good thing.
Last chance, Final tour, End of the Road, Last Night of the Electrics...I am sure they will reinvent a new slogan.
Status Quo are no more. They live on only in their recordings and memories.
Rossi has not got what it takes to be any thing Status Quo related in the future as far as I am concerned and if I wanted some Quo nostalgia I can think of dozens of bands that do it much better and more authentically than his joke band.
End of the Quo story that had dragged and limped on for decades, from the real end of Quo at the departure of John all those years ago, was I am afraid final and complete with Ricks passing.

Hi All, Two hopes Bob and No! You just have to remember what he said about Nostalgia that to me woke me up about how he truly feels about Alan/John and Rick as much as I never wanted to believe it was possible...
EDIT: I also think that being as Alan,John and Rick where preparing to reunite before his passing (RIP Rick ) this would have stuck in his throat big time and may have even been the reason why he came out with the nostalgia quote ? He was still trying to be in control which backfired big time as A/J and R said they wanted to play together kicking Francis into touch, Ego is the boggest stumbling block in any bands relationship IMHO. The photo shopped picture below speaks volumes that the FF as far as Francis was concerned all but over and done!
Geoff.

Remember anyone when most said 'there will never be a reunion' ? I remember the days when me and a few others believed there would be. I always had faith a reunion would happen one day, despite the great passage of time. I felt there would be commercial pressure to do it at some point. However, without Rick it's a non-starter. Possibly we might see them perform a number or two together if there ever is a memorial gig for Rick, maybe.
