Had planned to set off today but as the rain is of Noah's Ark proportions have deferred to morning when forecast is better! Anyone else going? Great line up if you like acoustic/folk (Levellers, Seth Lakeman, Oysterband, Show of Hands) as well as a few more mainstream artists like KT Tunstall and 10cc (yes, only one original member like some other band I like(d))

I like Wickham, the place & the festival. The festival isn't too big. However, I tend to just pop along for the odd evening if there's somebody I particularly want to see - such as Richard Thompson & Steve Earle in recent years [not together!].

And so back from the festival which was terrific. For the second time saw Andy Fairweather Low (ex Amen Corner). Fabulous live performer and guess who was playing keyboards in his backing band?? Our old accordion friend from Acquostic! Geraint Watkins!

Our old accordion friend from Acquostic! Geraint Watkins! Two great musicians - one act I wouldn't have minded seeing I agree. Geraint Watkins is a great keyboard/accordion player and singer too and has done some fantastic stuff over the years with Dave Edmunds, it's a shame his contribution to Aquostic seems to attract such ridicule when the decision to use him came from the producer. I do agree though it would have sounded far better more stripped down with no accordion or female backing vocals.
