A great movie from go to whoa. The 'dogfight' scenes with the spitfires are sensational. The music has a very suspenseful feel to it throughout. Highly recommended.

Watched it last night Gaz, i thought it was ok. The soundtrack sounded very familiar to Intersteller, i think it was the same composer. Felt sorry for the last spitfire pilot.

Yeah rock agree I know it's just a story based with the backdrop of Dunkirk but gives a hint into the bravery of those guys, especially those pilots, in the effort for survival. True grit.

Christopher Nolan has made some great movies, The Prestige is great, if you haven't seen it, you gotta. Starring Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman.

Hi All, Gaz rockonquo I am looking forward to when it comes to the small screen despite some minor technical errors which can always be over looked IMHO so long as they are not glaringly obvious and stand out like a sore thumb...
It has attracted some tossers from the pc brigade though! from earlier in July claiming not enough diversity freebeacon.com/culture/usa-to...ities-dunkirk/and that article itself:- www.usatoday.com/story/life/...ion/482574001/ Also the videos below just cannot get how stupid some people are when commenting on historical films not being diverse enough.... doh
[video src="https://youtu.be/z [/video][/span][/p] In the video below lied is a pretty poor wording IMO just making it watchable for the casual film goer IMHO. Plenty more here:- www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dunkirk+diverty+rants
As for the music here is why it all sounds so familiar and why Nolan uses it when having his films scored by 'Hans Zimmer' its called the Shepherd tone...
Geoff.

As I said above, it's a movie not an historically factual doco ffs. I enjoyed it and loved those 'dogfight' scenes. Yes, the background noise/music certainly builds up a lot of tension. Enjoy it when on dvd but I hope you have a big tele with surround sound. letsrock

Geoff. Yes, a good movie Geoff. It grabs your attention right from the start. The first war movie I've seen with no blood & guts in it & still entertaining.

No ‘infowars’ videos please. Hi Al, 4th, Do you work for youtube on the quiet then ?........... If your being serious please explain why..
Gaz - I know it's not matey it's just the three fictitious story's with their own point of view, that are based around an historical fact, I was merely showing the stupid pc comments that are being banded about to stir up shit for other peoples own agendas.
Simply because they are to lazy to look into the history surrounding the facts behind the film especially when there is no need to, people should just go to watch a film and enjoy it for whatever it is as both you and 'Daren' have simple!....
I could come back with a very sexist comment about the 'DVD' Like:- I don't need surround sound I'll just ask the wife to sit down in the corner with her gob open (But don't tell her I said that!)..... No big Tv but do have a sound-bar that gives films plenty of oomph in the audio department....
Geoff.
