J K, as well as tafkar, should not speak about the hardcore fans, or rather not speak at all, but carry on doing what they do best. Rubber Gloves and GoGoGo are excellent videos and the ideas about Rick's video sounded great. He has something good in him!

Really looking forward to Rick's solo album, with no acoustic & accordion in sight, sounds good already. As for the PLC tracks, when are they gonna appear, don't think they'll be on Rick's solo album.

Yes, he recorded his parts of 12 (?) songs and his son RPJ finished the songs in a studio some time ago.

Thanks for that, good to have another update from another insider. Though I can't help thinking it might have felt a whole lot worse if the vid got made and THEN Rick dropped dead ... but, I don't know, if he was having fun maybe it wouldn't matter. He did sound as if he was tackling things head on. I wonder why he was recording in Germany? Just curious.
I've been a bit puzzled why Rick seemed to have "gone off" the Aquostic project, which he seemed to be keen on to start with. I now have a feeling in my bones* that maybe it wasn't so much that he didn't care for Aquostic (Rick never was a rock-or-nothing musician) but that it must have bothered him to think that that would be his ONLY future in Quo - seeing as it's been said or implied that the main reason for it was so that Rick wouldn't be over-strained. (And Rick himself said he didn't want to drop dead on stage - we something think that would be a noble and fitting end, but it might not look that way to the person actually having to do it.) But rockin or not rockin, a life sitting down (when not in a car or in front of the telly) isn't really Rick, is it?
(*not specifying which bones.)

He was recording in Hamburg because of Wayne Morris. Since 2007 they were writing together and so they apparently did for Ricks solo album. Wayne is living in Hamburg. And RPJ was in this studio n Hamburg to finish his dads album.
