Thanks to Gaz's Australian ad link (now in tours section, I found this clip of Quo from 1997 on an Australian TV show.
The best bit is the opening where the Studio TV show musicians are playing ROLD and the female presenter is bobbing away. It then cuts to Quo playing on another set. But I loved how the audience, the session musicians and the presenter are enjoying what I would call hard-core Quo track.

I stopped it the moment Bown started RAOTW. The bloke playing the red Strat in the house band looked like David Cameron. That's plenty. That's when I stopped too. But I loved the opening because it was so unexpected.

One of the women in the audience had a face on like she had been ordered at gun-point to attend one of Theresa May's election love-ins and appear nice and jolly in all the right places The female presenter looked, um, a bit out of place in a skirt suit and heels trying to rock out to a version of ROLD Very much an Aussie version of happy-clappy daytime telly we get over here - but Francis and Rick appeared on lots of these over the years and AOTW..

The presenter did but that's what I liked. As she genuinely seemed to be enjoying the music but simply dressed wrongly. I missed the audience member.

The audience member is in the middle of the screen in the quick shot of the whole audience just before they cut to RAOTW. She's finding it hard not to look distinctly underwhelmed

Just a couple of months before Rick had his quadruple heart bypass. Princess Di gets a mention - she died 4 months later.
Seems like an age ago.
Sounds like RAOTW & Caroline were both completely live? Rossi pulls off a lower-register harmony on the "And i like it, I like it..."'s which I've not heard him do before.
Jeff Rich clinging on to his barnet.

I missed the audience member. !997 eh?....It was going on 20 years since I last saw Quo and I remember heading to The Royal Theatre ,which holds around 2,500 people, thinking that the place will surely be almost empty as Quo were basically looong forgotten by then but to my surprise the place was near full and although the band was nowhere near as good as '78 the place still rocked. btw, the presenter,in the clip above is Kerrie Ann Kennerly who has been around forever on TV over here...in fact it was only last week that she received her Aussie TV Hall Of Fame award. btw, did you hear Kerrie Ann mention that old chestnut of 110 million record sales again? and that was 1997....
