Been listening to both their albums and the track "Can Win for Losing" off their "For Ol' Times Sake" LP jumped out at me for being a track Quo could have easily written back in the day. Even the main solo is very Rossi-esque. So ant ... Cheers for pointing them out.

That's Rick Richards late of the Georgia Satellites singing and on lead guitar. The album is actually mainly driven by the Georgia Satellites old road manager and has a very similar though a little more country feel to the Georgias. The country feel is a lot harder and rockier than most, though. Great sense of humour too e.g. One Beer - the first track on the first album.
There is a story that one of the first gigs that one of the Georgias went to (I can't remember if it was Rick or Dan Baird, or both) was Quo touring the states in 1976 and it made a huge impression on them. Looks like it still does!
If you like this then Izzy Stradlin's 117 degrees album is worth seeking out - Rick Richards is on that too and does a great job. Best version of Memphis Tennessee I've ever heard!

Here is the Memphis Tennessee: Cheers Whoppa. Great version. Mind you, there's a few on the OTL thead that wouldn't like it. They'd see it as a boring cover & filler.

Saw this last year and immediately ordered the album! Always love Break The Rules and this is a most splendid version of it.

Here is the Memphis Tennessee: Thanks for sharing that, Whoppa ! I listen to so many kinds of music and this is one of those things that I just missed somehow through the years. Just been listening to some other tracks from him on youtube and love it !
