Absolute state of that picture.
Makes me angry watching the fools on FB, with their usual "Leave Rossi alone. It's still Status Quo no matter what" shite
It's not Status Quo!!!

Not for me, I got a refund on my London 02 ticket, so there be no point in ordering, the triple vinyl lp, double CD, DVD, Blu-ray or even the poster.

Well they certainly know how to fleece people compared to the Deep Purple Set at fraction of the price

This'll surely test the most avid collectors' loyalty.

There is a problem here though. The recording and camera crews would have been booked in advance and before Rick fell ill. Again there is no choice in sitting on the footage. Contracts will have been signed and it has to be released, I'm not buying it because of the static set list but I know why it's going to be released.

A friend of mind, who isn't a Quo fan, has just commented, "I assume that the O2 concert was the last night of the tour, hence the title and what a crap cover"

From the footage I've seen from this gig, the DVD/BluRay should be great quality and it'll look good from this big venue with a massive crowd. It wasn't my favourite gig of the tour, but still happy to have an official release of it. The triple vinyl test pressings sold out quick, only 15 of those so a nice collectible in the making there.

Its just a shame rick wasnt there. It was an ok gig as far as Quo go without Rick but the price for the LP is so expensive at £40!! I bought the cd of the gig on the night which wasnt worth it if I buy this release!

For those not on fb - this is the quote from Francis.
Francis Rossi said, “This release captures Quo on incredible form, at a concert that will live long in my memory. It was a difficult time, but we knew what we needed to do and we delivered. This was by no means business as usual, nor should it have been, but the energy of the music, the band and the crowd coming together was palpable”.

My personal response is total shock! Not a band I recognise anymore either.

"The events of last year were unparalleled in Status Quo history but 'The Last Night Of The Electrics' release sees them meeting difficult times head on, doing justice to their legacy and that incredible back catalogue. It's the sound of Quo."
