During burning bridges last december at the O2, London, Francis was singing 'can't escape there's paddy in my ears'. Does he still sing These words ? I must say I was dissappointed and a bit upset when I heared this.

Couldn't it be a case of hearing one thing when in fact the artist has sung something completely different you know like Queen's Pork Sausages ?....

So now he's calling Richie Malone a "Paddy"?.... What a prick he is. This I actually find that full on offensive, no matter who says it.

Francis being offensive is par for the course but at a couple of gigs I saw he sang "New boy" instead of "Paddy", presumably because the european audience wouldn't have got the reference, not to spare his finer feelings.

Racist Rossi? He says Jocks on the FF in Glasgow cd.Try this one for size.I read an article or book extract when Rossi/Parfitt were indulging in rhyming slang and said that the slang for chips was that N word guaranteed to cause an explosion of outrage....N#####s Lips =Chips

Used in the right context there is nothing wrong with it
As much as I no longer think the sun shines out of his backside to quite the same quite ridiculous extent as I used to, its still the case with many things that Francis says and does, there is usually little point in analysing and fretting over it because he is a law unto himself in most respects. Rightly or wrongly he won't change for anyone or anything - and probably doesn't care what people think anyway.

I remember as a child back in the 50s that my parents would always refer to the "negro family down the street" and nobody thought anything of it and calling someone "black" would be viewed as highly insulting, mind you 1950s smalltown America was vastly different to today, amazing how things have changed in a relatively short span of time.

Don't see what the fuss is all about.. If we going to give Rossi a hard time lets do it for actually playing BB and Margarita Time etc. live Because the terms "Paddy", "Jock" and "Taffy" are feckin offensive. That's what the fuss is about. Anyone who uses any of those terms is a fucking arsehole. Yet you're ok with calling cyclists "fannies". You two-faced a poms crack me up😂😂😂
