So I was cleaning out the car earlier and found this album.
What you meant to say was how you stuck in on full blast and drove out into the country as the hairs on the back of your neck stood tall as you sang along to ever track.
I feel better now.
An absolute joy to listen to this album.
Oh well each to their own but a Quo high for me.
Just my view of course.
Peace and love to all.

There isn't a track on this album I don't like. Is it true that there never was a CD version released on the original album with no stick-ons added? (I'm still on rattly cassettes for most of my Quo albums.)

(I'm still on rattly cassettes for most of my Quo albums.) There was a double CD released in the 90s with Just Supposin. It missed off High Flyer and The Wild Ones respectivley. (Though they did appear on the cassette version of the same release. In 2005 the first remaster for both albums had them back as single discs each. The WYW album had High Flyer restored with Hard Ride, Bad Company. 3 demos and a single version of Living on an Island added. The Just Supposin remaster had The Wild Ones restored and AB Blues added.

(I'm still on rattly cassettes for most of my Quo albums.) The deluxe edition gives you the album proper on disc 1 and bonus stuff (but unfortunately missing two of the US mixes ) on disc 2. Have to say, the instrumental version of "Living on an Island" is wonderful IMO.

Bored rigid with the title song/single which became a happy clappy anthem, but like the rest a lot

A few years ago I undertook an exercise where I took each Quo album in turn and graded each song on it out of 10. When complete I calculated the total for each album and the average score per song on it - WYW came out top so by my (scientific ?) approach it's my favourite Quo album
A few years ago I saw Stated Quo perform 'Breaking away' - absolutely magic !!

Great album. Apart from the title track, which really gets on my tits. I love the whole thing.
