A great crowd too, although not quite as animated as those at the FF reunions!

I've always thought Ozzy's voice has stood up well to the songs he has to sing and the abuse he's put himself through over the years. It's Rock n Roll, if I wanted perfection I'd go see classical or opera!

We had really good seats near to Tony (I went with my 13 year old son & 63 year old friend so didn't want to stand) and, as I said, Ozzy's unique voice was spot on. I've seen him solo a couple of times and this was definitely the best I've heard him sing.

Glad you all enjoyed it above! We're here at the NEC now in Pizza Express with Sabbath playing! I'm sure it's going to be brilliant but sad at the same time..

Have a great night vivfromcov I wish I was there too. Make sure you see the Rival Sons supporting Sabbath, they're really good.

Really enjoyed Rival Sons. I'll look them up on YouTube and would go an see them again. Sabbath were great of course but I think I enjoyed the Sheffield gig in 2013 more. Probably because we were standing a bit closer and last night we couldn't see much of the stage and even the big screens were only glimpses. I liked seeing the brief footage of one of the old concerts, with Ozzy in his white fringed jumpsuit. Reminded me of Coventry Theatre many moons ago I think I liked the setlist from 2013 better but only because I liked the couple of songs from 13 and they did not play them this time. Though I'm sure the hard core Sabbath fans appreciated the 3-4 songs I was not so familiar with. They played Hand of Doom (Sorry powerage) which was good. Glad I was there for the last concert and rocked out one last time.... Not much to look forward to though now....

So many great songs Sabbath have done without Ozzy. I never listen to Sabbath Ozzy,Heaven and Hell is imo the best Sabbath album. Would have been cool if they'd done a final gig with a few special guests too,Gillan Tony Martin maybe The same way Quo should have gone out Cheers
