God they are still going on, saying how we should not tell people how to grieve and only "True" fans will know why they have to be there. What utter Bollocks. Whereabouts are these idiots saying this, I want to make sure I avoid reading their selfish comments. It's in the Fan Club page. Don't worry they are getting a good bollocking of some of the members. Though they still keep going on about being ENTITLED to be there. Because Rick made himself public property.

I'll need to check all the comments on that page then, was just reading the main post and they're all respectful...

I've had my say in that group today to all of those that feel they're "welcome" to attend... And it even ended up with the FTMO page telling no one to turn up... YET they still feel obliged to do as they wish.

I'm not a member so no problem for me. Why can't just have some respect FFS! The poor twins, and the rest of the family, will be upset enough without having to witness bizarre behavior from a few nutters.

Look through that one you will see some scary people who seem to think they are entitled to ignore Rick and his family's wishes. As they have supported the band for so long.

Who will not respect the family's wishes just because they are "grieving" more than us. ill quote Delboy here. "Get over it? What a plonker you really are Rodney. Get over it. I ain't even started yet! Ain't even started bruv! And d'you know why? Because I don't know how to! That's why"

Yes partying was a part of Rick but he also had his private family moments as well. I think we should be thankful that Social Media was not around in 1980. Some of these "fans" would have wanted to be there to shake his hand and give him a hug after what happened. That would not have helped him at all I know that my parents didn't want people they didn't or hardly know turning up and saying how sorry they were when my mum had a stillbirth.

For most of us, I would think, hopefully I am not wrong, we are struggling with the idea that we will never see the powerhouse starting up Caroline..simple as that....I still can't quite take on board that fact that he has gone..Quo at the moment hold very little interest for me..the very idea that I or anybody should attend the funeral without an invite is simply beyond belief..despite the fact the fact that Rick and Quo have been part of our lives probably for most since the seventies.

If his manager was as good as he thinks he is, he would have told (not simply advised) Rick to make/update his Will. A Will is very hard to overturn, and so leaves little room for 'battles'.

We've parted now, but on good terms. 2) In this case, to turp up at a private funeral is out of order. We never owned Rick, never owned Quo.

Now that the details of Richard's funeral have been announced, it's brought it home that the great man is actually gone. Grim.

And yes, its another smack in the face of a reality check, just in case any denial somehow still exists he has actually gone
