Does anybody have any more information regarding the collection of Quo singles from Paper Plane to Living On An Island, being released in March?

A bit pointless this one ain't it? Go round the charity shops and records shops and within a week you'll have everything they released on vinyl for under a tenner. I done that a few years back having sold most of my records in the early 90s. It's more fun too!

Does anybody have any more information regarding the collection of Quo singles from Paper Plane to Living On An Island, being released in March? - Remastered by Andy Pearce and Matt Wortham
- Liner notes by Dave Ling (partially taken from the deluxe editions, partially new)
- CD version also planned
- More sets will follow
That enough information for you?

I've just noticed the 13 single's vinyl collection 1972/79 released on 10th March is priced at £96.41 on Amazon. That's £14 more, I paid for the 1972/80, 10 albums vinyl set.

I see they've missed out What You're Proposing / A B Blues & Lies / Don't Drive My Car! Decades always used to run 1-10, rather than 0-9 - just like centuries running 1-100 & millenia 1-1000, not 0-999.

It's not a decade thing, just a case of dividing all the singles up into similarly sized packages. Also, this set spans the exact same time as 12 Gold Bars Vol. 1, which is a nice coincidence.

I'm not buying it for these reasons None of these songs are from the vaults None of these songs are re imagined None of these are viewed through a prism I've heard them all so many fucking times

From the official press release: Status Quo are also extremely proud to announce the forthcoming release of 'The Vinyl Singles Collection 1972-1979', on Friday 10th March 2017 via UMC. This carefully curated release is the first in a series of five limited edition Status Quo 7" singles box sets. Each set will cover a decade (in the case of the eighties – two) of the band's UK 7" singles. The music is also available via a digital download code included in the box.

Box 2 ends with the "Going Down Town Tonight" single. 12 singles (as it includes the cancelled "Jealousy" single).
